Evan, it is a very nice recreation of the GB style; I like it. My only complaint is that it looks a bit empty; add some bushes or something.

I like it, Dragonite. It feels a little cramped though. The bottom left bothers me for some reason as well.

How is it cramped? For quests these days it looks fairly open to me.

Jared: Love the palette change Jared. Tiles are superb, and good design. However, I feel the ground tiles are contrasting too much. They don't harmonize the screen. I think a more indigo hue would be appropriate.

Yoshidude: I like this screen. Nothing too fancy, nothing to complain about.

Ah, that looks so much better now. It gives off a more chilling mood than the old colors, which were just a little too bland.

Looks fine, I don't really see anything wrong with the bottom left corner, and it definitely isn't cramped at all. In fact, it's perfectly open, and doesn't need to be changed.

Anyway, I think I did a fantastic job on the background aspects, being a cave in. Sprites are being modified at the moment, so don't worry about them clashing.

Yup, and thanks. I'm combining both Zelda and Metroid into an enjoyable 2.5 side scroller.
