I have picked up a book and a chip in level 4 what is the difference or what are they for.

A book? I'm pretty sure you mean the card key (the white thingy). You get the chip and the cardkey from Lv4. You use the card key to open the locked door in the Lab part of Lv4.

Ah yes, so that is why the door opened icon_lol.gif

anyone beat it yet? I want to be sure its flawless now in 2.5. The latest version isn't uploaded yet onto PureZC since updates take FOREVER to happen around here. icon_razz.gif But hopefully all the 183 quests I have should make the transition to 2.5 smoothly. I recently played Isle of the Winds and that played great from beginning to end. I played Origin Quest 1 and 2, but haven't received the Master Key from level 8 in quest 2, so no idea if it works properly. And not touched quest 3.

I apologize for not being at your beck and call, because after all, what else is more important than updating Lost Isle on PureZC? Yeah, I would for now on appreciate that you please don't pester me again about these things, be it on Facebook or anywhere else.

Hi DFW! I am playing RC3 version, too. I have, however, reached and impasse. I cannot get past the windrobes in the gleeok room in the Master Dome. Somehow, I managed to off the gleeok, but those two windrobes nail me within a few seconds. Is there a strategy? I've even tried the slow-mo, and there just doesn't seem to be a vulnerable side to them. Their multi-directional blasts provide only accidentally safe positions, and before I can strike, I'm hit. Any suggestions? Otherwise, super-fantastic game, as good as the first time I played! icon_biggrin.gif

arieltap: I must question if the multi-directional blasts were intended. I recall having the same issue on older builds that wasn't Lost Isle (I was stubborn like that). All I can say is to be careful and good luck.

The windrobes should be firing in one direction IIRC

That's what I remember when I played it in the LI build. I thought this was a new "challenge" with the latest update. I just can't get past them. Oh well, I beat the quest, nonetheless!

Considering that I don't think I ever played on the Lost Isle build...well, guess I made it through the hard mode with (some) difficulty. I'm proud of that. icon_razz.gif

I can give belated testing a whirl later this week.

Wow, that windrobe is a bug I think that might be a RC 3.0 issue rather than a LI issue. Not really sure how I can fix that one.

you could make an alternate file in 2.50(3) and edit that enemy, right? I still haven't tried this quest. I intend to try it in 2.50(3) in the near future.

Go to enemy editor, search for the windrobe enemy and change his shot type to "1 shot". hope that helps.

Also, I think that the master dome can barely be found without using forums or walkthrough. Why not hide it a little more obvious?

Well, since Windrobes really aren't a REAL player in the game other than in the Master Dome, I can probably safely leave them in as is. Its not a game-breaking bug. That and when I look at them in the editor, they already say 1-shot! O_o
Regardless, as for the Master Dome, it wasn't meant to be found easily. In fact, it was supposed to be a nice easter egg for those who like to experiment. For one, I placed it specifically where it is now, so that people 'might' become a bit suspicious why this side trail leads to a dead end with a blank, obviously bombable wall. So they go to bomb it, yet nothing happens! So the intent here was to see if the player would be intuitive enough to try testing other items they have, ultimately landing on the Power Rod to open the way into the Master Dome. Considering how the Awesome Arrows are in no way needed to beat the quest, I felt its hiding spot aptly placed.

I thought that dead-end led to money which gave me the idea that there would be nothing else over there...
