I'm bored of all games. I got Pokemon Trozei Battle and it's so boring. I playing Pokemon Y for a month and then was instantly bored after I beat the Elite Four. That's why I'm working on my quest, lol. I dabble in old Dragon Quest games just to keep it fresh in my mind while I make my DQ themed quest.

100% cleared Lost Odyssey on my second play through. I can't even give it a proper review, I can't find anything wrong with it at all, minus the loading screens. This game is just that amazing. It's up there with Final Fantasy X for me. 5/5

Also, I have been playing Final Fantasy V and VI. But before I finish them off, I'm going to finish off Final Fantasy X HD now.

Battle Spot.

Anything else I need to say? XD

But seriously, I'm thinking of picking up Sonic Lost World again and trying to beat that thing.

Been playing Pokemon X, painfully trying to complete the pokedex.

Pokedex stats:

Seen: All except for Registeel, Latios, Groundon*, Deoxys, Shaymin, Arceus, Tornadus, Landorus and Genesect.

* denotes that I can have it traded to me and back easily.

Obtained: 668 National, 424 Kalos.

If anyone is willing to trade me the above legendaries (especially the four event legendaries. I hate you GTS) to me and back, hit me up in PM and we will discuss.

Later today, I can lend you a Genesect for a dex entry. Though you don't need event legendariea to get the game to recognize completion, from what I understand.

I'm not sure, but I thiiiink I have Tornadus as well that I'd be willing to lend. I don't recall which of them I have. :S

I started playing Bioshock... and I have to say, I really don't like it that much. It's just... it's got a lot of potential, but the locations all boil down to incredibly generic sewers and dark corridors, the resource starvation is obnoxious, and the enemies they throw at you fairly early on are way too strong for you to stand much of a chance against. Not to mention, the story really hasn't done anything to get me at all invested. So I just stopped playing, and probably won't be coming back to it. Not for a while at least.

Instead, I started Bioshock Infinite, and wow. Basically every complaint I had with the first game was addressed, and then some. So far it's an infinitely better game, and my only real complaint is the lack of a save anytime system forces me to keep playing past when I want to stop to hit a save point. But other than that, it's great.

I've been playing more of Pokemon X and caught a shiny Luvdisc while hunting for Heart Scales. Man I feel so lucky, even if it is of the most useless pokemon in the game. Too bad it is going to get palmed off for a Registeel or something like that...

Luvdisc IVs: Low all round, but 31 in Special Attack.

Alright, got it. PM me the details of when you become available next and we should be fine.

I've been playing Blue Dragon. Nearing the end of disk 1. I love this game but really I hate the boss theme of this game so much... It really doesn't go with it at all.

Bought Arkham Origins for Wii U today because I have no self-control. Is alright so far, but the first Deathstroke fight can go to hell.

I started playing a demo of a Metroid 2 remake called AM2R, which came out a couple days ago. My god, this game is awesome, and I didn't even like the original. The different areas all have unique graphics to help tell them apart and make exploring new areas more exciting, and the Metroids are actually learning!

If you've never played Metroid 2, the idea is that you need to destroy all the Metroids on their homeworld. However, they've been evolving further than what you see in the other games. For example, the first type of Metroids you encounter are Alpha Metroids. They've developed a resistance to cold, but are still vulnerable to Missiles. In the remake, though, the thick plating on their backside to help distinguish them from normal Metroids will now deflect Missiles, forcing you to have to aim for the weak underside. What I'm starting to notice now, though, is that they learn better methods of fighting you as you defeat more of them. I'm still fighting Alpha Metroids, but now they'll dart diagonally away when they see a Missile coming, and they have this high-speed ramming attack that WILL hit you the first couple times they use it before you learn to watch out for it.

So far, I'm in the third major region of the game, and I've gotten the Spider Ball, High Jump Boots, Ice Beam, and Wave Beam. If I remember from what I played of the original game, I should be getting the Varia Suit soon, but the different areas in the remake have been slightly rebuilt for the different resolution and upgraded gameplay, and the space where I think I remember getting the Varia doesn't seem to be there anymore. I don't remember the original too well, so I might just be remembering it wrong, though.

My buddy got me Dark Souls 2. It seems more tame than the first one, but it's also harder to just explore. Maybe I'm just not far enough yet to open up the game.

I haven't played it yet (Waiting on PC version) but from what I've read it's "levels" are separate from each other where as in the first game the "levels" are interwoven, weaving in to each other or visible from another part of the game etc. Based on this change I expect the experience will be more linear, you'll still probably get to choose the order you do things in, but the path within each area is more linear.

I've been playing Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen and it starts off pretty great but around the halfway point the interesting quests dry up very quickly leaving you with a ton of bland "Kill X amount of Y monsters." quests. It's also poor at conveying which quests will automatically fail when progressing from one stage of the main story, to the next (The "Kill X of Y Monster" quests will never automatically fail though, it's only specific interesting quests that will).

The combat is pretty neat and the world is well designed, it's just a shame that 90% of the quests are crammed in to the early game.

Beat Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for the Wii U just a few minutes ago. It's not the best game I've played for the Wii U (that would be either Super Mario 3D World or tLoZ: Wind Waker HD), but it sure had some impressive graphics (dat intro and ending scene). But, there's a thing things I didn't and did like:

- The controls for swimming and (especially) rocket flying were skeptical. I never could master them really well.
- There were some occasional scenarios where the game drives you to nowhere but harm or death. You can have as much skill and timing as possible, but you'll end up getting hurt or worse.
- The game pretty much requires you to trial and error a lot, with no dialogue to explain anything new coming your way.
- The ending felt pretty unrewarding (minus the music), 3D World suffered from this too.
- Worst thing by far: Loading screens! Oh my God, why would you do this to us!? You have to wait 10-30 seconds each time you load/finish a stage, and worst yet, you have to wait twice as much if you press continue on the Game Over screen.

Loading Review... Loading Review... Loading Revi-Loaded!

+ On the plus side of things, it wasn't your overall worst control scheme, some of it was more than really good. And thank God, no gimmicks involved!
+ The difficulty was spot on, I died more than five times, and that's something rare in Nintendo games for me.
+ Fast paced action with a lot of variety. There's always something new at every corner.
+ All the alternative Kongs were great (I find Cranky a little useless, but I'll let that complaint slide).
+ Amazing intro scene to start up the game.

Personally, this game sits on a 3.75/5. It would have been a solid four if I didn't have to wait so much and got to watch a more better ending. With that said - next up, continuing on with Final Fantasy X HD and a replay of Lost Odyssey.

If you don't use motion controls, what is the button layout like and can it be customized? Is it like the SNES games?

Just finished an excellent and very underrated NES platformer titled "Gimmick!"

Some of you might have seen it's ridiculous Scandanavian box art and assumed it to be bargain bin fodder, but ohhhh you'd be so wrong in that respect. Arguably the most intelligent platformer I've ever played, everything is just perfect. The difficulty is Nintendo Hard but never feels like a turnoff (I beat it in about 4 hours), the physics are unparalleled and the graphics are jaw-droppingly amazing. But sadly, it's a short, compact experience at only 6 levels. But did I mention I've never played an NES platformer enemies THIS intelligent? They'll ceaselessly chase after you, leaping across gaps and following you through the level. They'll jump over your bouncing star shots but dash after you if you aim over them. They'll fake out attacks and block yours. They'll run after you if you attack their buddies (even if you miss!). And that's really only half of it. If you ever get the chance to play this game, you won't regret it. It's easily the most polished NES platformer I've ever played. Or any platformer, taking into consideration the NES's limits.

It's a good game, and aside from an extremely limited PAL release (I think it made it to Greenland?) it was virtually a Japanese exclusive game. It  does indeed feature proper physics and makes use of an audio chip included in the cartridge to greatly enhance the audio, in fact I don't think the game uses the NES's internal audio hardware at all except maybe for sound fx (The chip can't work on non-Japanese consoles and the devs didn't want to compromise the quality of the project hence it's incredibly limited release outside of Japan). It also made use of I think some of the latest cartridge technology (Memory controllers and stuff) that allow for the incredible graphics, high frame rate and minimal graphical flicker.

It was Hudson at its finest :/
