Speaking of the floating garden dungeon (which I have beaten, BTW, though I haven't made time to find found level 3 yet), I recently remembered that it's not an entirely new concept. New for a Zelda game, yes, but not overall.

The same thing was done in the SNES game "Illusion of Gaia" for a level known as the "Sky Garden". Great game. Been ages since I played it; I just happened to be looking for music from it to use in my quest and was reminded of that level.

Regardless, Peteo did a great job of implementing the idea into LI. Kudos!

Yes, I came up with the idea to use that in Lost Isle and I think it took about 4-5 sessions of talking with Peteo to finally get across the idea about what exactly I wanted from the level. So given our communication barriers and distance, I think the idea turned out rather well.
Speaking of which, level 4 is NOT fixed yet, but I did a temporary fix for the Svalbard Palace (where you find the blue mail). So when PureZC admins choose to update the Lost Isle in the database with the new one I just uploaded, I'd like all the testers to rush to the Ice Palace level and see if all those screen state carryovers are working now. If they are, I can proceed with level 4 and fix it the same way. If not...well, we'll have to talk with the ZC developers and see what to do next.

Okay i pic up older savefile and play ice palace again to see if i can get the blue mail.

Okay, I got one golden response back. I'll get to working on level 4 next. Were there any problems in level 5? Has anyone...oh wait, nevermind, no one could have gotten that far yet, could they?
