You wouldn't need to "feel" anything if it was explicit, which is what I said in the first place. They may have kissed, they may not have. They may have strong romantic feelings towards each other, they may have strong platonic feelings. Maybe Zelda has strong romantic feelings but Link doesn't. Link has never explicitly been depicted as being romantically interested in anyone, even if many of the women around him have been shown to be interested in him. Besides Wind Waker, Link is a really boring guy - and that's ok if he's intended to be a blank slate the player projects themselves onto. It's also why I really like his new, more androgynous look.I felt they may have even kissed

Pretty cool, but I hope they don't forgo support for the Pro Controller and an On-TV map.

My main concern is that the combat still seems to be meaningless. The weapons are weightless, they do not really have completely different properties and scenarios to use, other than "the bow is a long-range item". And the aiming can be automatic. And of course the slow motion... thing.
But the world seems to be completely open and fully explorable and huge, and full of spaces and areas where it seems there's really nothing to find, and there's some gamespace logic. In short, it seems to be an actual place which exists regardless of the player rather than some pre-designed map made for the epic hero's quest. That's probably the best part of Zelda U showed so far, and I hope the final product lives to this expectation.

I like to imagine they got some help from the devs of Xenoblade when it came to developing the overworld and the graphics aesthetics.

That looks fucking amazing. I really love the whole slow-mo horse jumping idea and the huge world adds so much exploration which makes things much better.
I'm really looking forward to this and my hype for Zelda U has skyrocketed.

I know people are gonna hate me for this, but I'm not really that impressed by this trailer. They just made the world map bigger.

I'm so happy. This is what I've been hoping for for so long. This is the sort of thing that I'll buy a Wii U for.

Edit: Dawnlight: I agree. But even a step toward a more immersive, open Zelda game is very much welcomed by me.

Awesome.New trailer from the Game Awards. I don't have too many words right now, other than this looks like the best damn thing ever.
Of course, "best thing ever" is only a matter of opinion...

There's a skull on the map when he zooms out a lot. Probably a sign of a defeated dungeon?
Most likely start with five hearts.
There's an interestingly shaped water place. There's going to be Zoras or something else.
Also volcanoes so probably Gorons.
They skip night. Their must be something they don't want to spoil. Hopefully more enemies. But Link has full hearts and they seem surprised by the arrows during the day so who knows. Song of passing I'm assuming.
It might just be me but it looks like there's a lily pad item on Link's horse
You can see an elk standing up on a rock
Wild horses!!!!
Also roads

That's pretty much what it is. It looks like ALBW's non-linearity in a much larger overworld. It's Zelda becoming more of a Western RPG. Though I can understand why some may feel overjoyed by the massive world. With the exception of Xenoblade, what other Nintendo game has a massive open world like this one? (WindWaker does not count

Yeah it's about time a Zelda game got a large expansive and explorable overworld and not something that just funnels you from segment to segment.
Edit: They've still got some work to do in the graphics department, I mean look at the hill texture on the left @ https://www.youtube....outu.be&t=4m17s it looks dreadful. The texture's been all stretched and warped and horrible. There's other parts of the footage showing similar problems in various places of the world too. Also Aonuma isn't "playing" it. He kept touching the analog stick a lot without the interaction affecting the gameplay.
