Hi Jamian! Loving the game so far! Thought you should know how great it is. I really can't complain about much... The gameplay's great, very few bugs (Only found one so far- In either Lynna Forest, in certain areas you can go behind some trees, and some trees are positioned between screens in positions where you can exit from the screen above, but on entering the screen, get stuck in one of the trees. I know one of them is the entrance room and the room right above it with both forests. There may be others in the present forest.), and great music... But if I had to gripe, I'd say that the music for boss battles gets to be a bit grating after the first 50 times or so. In other words, there should probably be more than one boss battle music score. Perhaps you could keep the current one for the bosses in the levels where the reward's an item, as those are more mini-bosses and they go down fast, switch the battle music of most of the Triforce guardians to something longer and more (I dunno, epic? thrilling? Something like that, anyway...), and switch the one for level 3's boss to something really fast paced and terrifying, due to the whole nature of that boss.

Tbh, though, I don't need any specific help right now. But I do have a request to ask, if it isn't too much trouble. I like finding things out on my own, but I also don't like wasting time looking for things when I already have everything I can get at that point... So, if you could, do you think you could type up a listing of the best (or most, with certain things) gear and upgrades a person can have before entering each Triforce dungeon? That would help me out, as I could really use a standard to compare myself to. Thanks in advance for reading and considering it.

(I also have another thing I'd like to ask, but given it's length and the very low likelyhood of it's happening for reasons mentioned in it, I'm putting this in a spoiler section.)

Thanks vravelo icon_smile.gif

Hi Umbra, thanks icon_smile.gif

I could make a list like you're referring to but it's going to be a tad spoiler heavy for my tastes... so I'd prefer to answer specifics.

Good point on the boss battle theme and the other suggestion - I'm keeping it in mind for upcoming updates.

As for the bestiary, it sure would be fun, but also hugely massive, considering the amount of enemies... so it's unlikely to happen.

Wow... Fast reply. icon_wow.gif I've never gotten a reply that fast. Ty. icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for considering the suggestions I made, especially in relation to the boss of L3. It did just seem kinda, I dunno, anticlimactic, the way it was.

Speaking of bosses...
Spoiler

You always could write up the list in a notepad or word document and have it available for download with the game. It would have spoilers, of course, but you could easily put that in the document's title... and compared to what some other top-tier quests do, it's really rather spoiler free. (I know that Zelda's Butt contains a full, albeit summarized, walk-through telling you where to go to find each level, and I know a lot of other quests have an item list telling you what you get in each dungeon.) Considering the list I meant wasn't really talking about items from dungeons, but rather just telling you how many HCPs or MCs (emphasis on the magic) are possible to get before entering such and such a place without telling you any sort of information other than that, I think you could make a checklist with virtually no spoilers.

The bestiary would be fun, and I would do it myself, if I didn't think it'd be wrong to name and describe creatures that were'nt my original idea. icon_unsettled.gif Doesn't mean I don't do it with myself, as you saw in my last post. (By the way, how did you like the describtion of the Octo-Gleeok? icon_confused.gif ) I could always whip one up and send it your way, but I'd need permission, and even with it it might take a while, as I still need to play the game too! icon_lol.gif

Again, thanks for taking my ideas into consideration. I'm happy to offer them, and happier to see that they don't get brushed off. I just hope that they aren't a bit TOO evil in respect to playing difficulty...(or do I? icon_superevil.gif ) Gl.

I'd watch, but I haven't caught up yet- I've gotta watch a few more of your previous ones first. icon_unsettled.gif Good luck, try not to die, and when Jamian updates the game, make sure to try everything new.

Hey Jubbz, I felt your pain against Ganon icon_wink.gif Explore level 9 some more to find a better tunic.

Also, if you update the quest file, Ganon's magic causes a bit less damage. The best tunic is still heavily recommended.

Hey there! Been playing this awesome quest, and I've got just about everything, except for the Hylian book. Where do I get it? I have the Yoshi doll in the trading sequence, but can't find anyone that wants it. Is that the last one? If not, I need to know where to take it and then where to find the book. I'm guessing it should be gotten before the fire and ice dungeon since there is a Hylian glyph there I can't read without it, and the lens reveals two glowing panels behind a statue on the fire side that I can't seem to do anything with.

These two spots indicate there's something hidden behind the statue (a key).

For the ghost who wants his bones, complete a trade sequence in Lynna in the present (there are a few items to exchange).

The golden arrow is in

Hmm... I'm thinking I missed a few magic containers, or maybe the X2 upgrade, because that wand drains my magic in 3-4 shots. How much magic should you have before level 6 anyway? (Speaking of level 6, what ARE those rabbit things there? Nothing seems to hurt them... I'm gonna have to check Jubbs' videos to see what he did there, because I'm stuck there.)

Are you using the latest quest file (it makes beating them a bit easier to figure out)? There are two specific things that can hurt the rabbit, but you have to use the environment.

I believe there's only one magic container you can get before entering level 6. You have to be careful with wand usage until you get more.

You're serious that that's the only one that I could have gotten? Then that's scary...
The latest quest file is which one exactly? Is it the one on the database, or the ones here? I downloaded it from the database, and thought it up to date, so if it isn't, then...

Oh, and any comments on the other ideas I left the other day? Just out of curiosity, as I get curious when the replies after it contain no mention of them... Makes me think I might have done something wrong. I'd rather know what someone thinks about them whether bad or good, than get no response... Because then I start to worry myself to pieces...
