L5 was Jellyca castle....so what L5 isle do I need to go for the colorful stone ?? The Prince is just too much to defeat!!! Don't stand a chance, lose too much life to get one whack at his foul ass!! In Charmed Citadel there are 3 keys that I see and can not get to (evidently one must warp into the screen to get them....I am trying to get enough keys to continue up the SW corner corridor of rooms on the first floor. Need help on where these warps are to get keys . I have made into bottom 2 rooms in that SW corner going up and need more keys to continue up. Help on any number of things,,,,and I probably should have a stronger sword by now as it still takes 5 whacks to kill a like-like. Making good progress and love the game, but now I need some help. Thanks!!

Do you want the black armor? then you have to go to Sleepy Ridge there you can find the colorful stone.

I went thru the steps to properly get the red armor.do I also need the blue armor for sequence completion thing?

I'm pretty sure I have the red armor already!! It shows up in my subscreen in the left half as like a blossomed red flower
I went thru the steps to properly get the red armor.do I also need the blue armor for sequence completion thing?

Its easier for you if you have the black armor then you can get the golden armor and you can beat Prince easier.

You have the first armor the second armor is black colour and golden armor is blue colour.

Go to the restored lvl4 area and get the second armor. you only got the first armor.


and you can buy superbombs/DYNAMITE STICKS if you got the letter.

hi chief:
i think the black flower equates to the red armor. you can get the black flower in Mold Memory thru Sleepy Ridge.
re: prince - tough but great reward. i beat it with the red armor (black flower). Try to get in the middle right and just stab at him when he's posed still. Avoid the middle or corners or you'll get jumped on.

OK. I got the black armor now....thanks for the help!! Also beat the prince....but what does the letter look like to buy dynamite (super bombs)...I need a superbomb for level 8, blocking a way.after getting letter (which I might have, not sure of a few things in my inventory, where do I buy the superbombs?? I've asked a couple times for help about the dynamite (super bombs).I think that is why I am stopped in level 8 as I have explored a good deal of level 8 ( I HAVE BOTH DUNGEON ITEMS). Help me with these dang dynamite sticks....thanks a ton!

How do you get this HPC, and there is also another HPC on a ridge over where you fought the Prince (sunset territory) that is defying me...thx again

Both of those NCPs require hammer, if I recall. The one in the picture sure does. Whack the boulder left of the HCP.

The letter (Myratech Seal) looks like a blue square plaquette with a red gearwheel on. You could get it at past L2 or L4. If you haven't, now you can get it only in Exile, but you need a dynamite for that. A dynamite will be in L9.
The shops that are enabled with this include the one northwest in Venom Bullet's palace. (you need to use the letter in the room; it's not visible if you have any potions)

Keys that you could miss:
-In the middle of F1, at the fully watery screen, dive at a suspicious spot to get teleported to one of the previously unreachable keys.
-Northwest F1, there are many chests in the water, all but one warp you back a few screens, one has the key.

The superbombable block in L8 hides only a bomb upgrade, don't fear that you miss out on a key there.


While in production, I took the possibility of using the ocarina to get out from past isles as a tolerated bug, but seems like it comes real handy. I should start claiming that that I even planned so...

Wait so you can miss it and then you can't get another without using dynamite which you have a limited supply of and can't buy without a seal? That's perfectly fair.

Though it's hard to miss in the L4 area.
One of the west houses have a timed challenge, beat it for the seal.
And if you wonder where is it in the L2 area, there's a suspicious skull at the overworld that stands out...

What happened when I spent 545 rupees for a lamp back in Exile....nothing shows up in my subscreen,,,but I did get that item under town in Utopia...yeah boyeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

BTW.... best CastChaos game in my opinion, keeps me wanting to play without getting bogged with stuff as CC does like to tell a story (and a half) lol

Okay a hint for that hpc is you must swim for that one and i think it was magic book you bought.
i mean you must swim to that door from outside.

As Judasrising told, the lamp is the magic book, so the wand magic collision creates magical blocks (the fire sprite in CoP). That HCP indeed requires swimming from the overworld part of Exile, but you won't be able to do it without superbombs, so you will need to wait till you get the one in L9.

That's where you get one of those items soon. Look for a room behind the unlocked passage that has a crack in the right wall. Bomb it, and keep bombs at hand still. Then there will be a strange room a bit south from that, it has blocks walkable and a usually unwalkable combo as walkable.
