you have to snek carefully so they not see you and when they turn around shoot arrow on them
and the guard be gone and you can go further on.

you are very close to beat this now i let you know that!

4 places on castle garden 4 guards to shoot with arrow be very carefully

then inside the castle and new places to exlore and you get to the boss.

hope this help you i did this way and it make me complete the quest.

i try to explain even better if this not help you my english is little poor
but i try to help you.

I belive that the two right and left guards are your the problem. Solve it by walking very close by the bottom wall around the corner

On second thought, I'm helpless yet again. Went to all four spots and got the sword, but I'm not finding any new places opened up now to be able to advance further.

if i remember it right that door opens from the other side

but have you been in a room with red curtain on the wall?

i did the garden then i go inside again then it was straight forward for me!

I've gotten through the first 7 levels and am stumped on finding level 8. I've been able to cover all areas of Inishfree except lower right corner. I saw in a post about the cave where you must learn to count but can't figure it out.

I'm in the fire house and have gotten both keys but either one disappeared or I used one somewhere else since I can't open the final lock. As far as I know there were two keys in the area and I only used one. When I'm on the first floor, I show two keys. I've beeen in every room except for the room north of the boss key and the rooms after the boss door. Now that I've unlocked the first door in the fire house, i don't have a key to open the second one. I got the one at the top right of the fire house first, but I needed to get the other one with the four lamps I needed to light to open the first lock on the bottom row.

How do I get the guards to turn around? On both sides, one stands on the stairs and never moves, the one below him walks towards me and then stands there without turning around.

To make sure I'm talking about the right guards... Enter the Courtyard, go one north and either two east or two west and you run into the first guard. If I hug the corner and go south, I see the other guard. I've tried hitting both with arrows and waited to see if they would turn around. Are these the right guards and if yes, how do I hit them with the arrow. I've wasted a lot of arrows trying to hit them in the right place.

Do i need the golden arrow to kill the guards? I still have silver.
