Oh man... I love that screen. The way the cliff hangs over the edge is just... awesome. Honestly, I'm a bit jealous. My only suggestions would be to use the four detailed grass tiles instead of the basic one you used, and to maybe use a few of the tiles of the grass growing in the mountain's cracks for a little variety.

A lot of newbies work with DoR. Some pulled though, some didn't. But this... this is a prefect example on how to use DoR.

As for the actual screen it's not bad but I don't feel it. The mountain formation doesn't look very good to my eyes.

Looking better, but the sky clashes with DoR because it's a bit too simple. Why not try using a background from another game like Yoshi's Island or something?

The term newbie does simply mean that you are new to a comunity or similar. It doesn't say anything about skill or whatever.

Average DoR screens, 6.5/10. Yes, these shots are to par in standard of DoR. However, I feel that it borders on the edge of being crammed. Even so, you did a good job with the direction paths, if it makes sense.

I like it a lot! It looks very playable, and the tiles are well used together.
