It's not Hasbro that's taking down episodes. It's trolls and neigh-sayers that flag the videos.

Hasbro doesn't officially care because the show is essentially a 22-minute commercial.

Oh. I knew it wasn't Hasbro that done it the first time, but I didn't know it was never them.

You could use Youtube Downloader

Well, my plan was to just keep the url of a website I could download them from in a .txt somewhere on my computer, then if/when the videos get flagged again, I just go to the site and start downloading. So that I don't download them and have them just sitting there taking up space for ages before I actually need to use them.

Aye, that I do young laddie.
But I fear I cannot tell ye.
However, what clues I posses,
I shall give with no repress:
It may partake in the docking of ships,
Sturdy ships, to encounter no flips;
Tales of old have certainly told
That it was the seafarer's make that was so bold.
For it could survive torrent upon torrent
Of crushing wave, yet show no rent
In the hull of the ship, no document could dislodge;
Located in the heart of a land capable of a dodge.

It also ends with ".org"

...Who the hell do you think I am, Professor Layton? WthSmiley.gif Seriously, that is way too cryptic. All I gathered from that was "I know, but I can't tell you." and "It ends in .org".

(1) Ships are docked in a bay.
(2) A pirate is a subcategory of seafarer.
(3) A torrent is a name for both violent water and a commonly used technology on the internet.
(4) and (5) Sweden has different laws regarding copyright than other countries.
(6) This one is self-explanatory.

Right, thanks, that is much simpler.

That helps a lot, but seriously, how the hell was I supposed to know that "land capable of a dadge" was refering to Sweden. You overestimate my puzzling skills. Anyway, thanks for the answer, but on second thought, I might not bother. The person whose uploads I watch now seems pretty persistent, as his uploads were recently taken down, and he's reuploaded to a second account. That and I can't really be bothered. (Yay for once again being lazy!)

I will admit, that one was far from what I would expect any sane person to discover, unless they had the knowledge prior to reading it. Regardless though, it was not crucial, so I chose not to edit it.

I find it humorous that we both have contradicting opinions on laziness; I download things so I can watch them without having to find them. icon_razz.gif

EDIT: Also:

I figured it out and I've only been to that site once... But then again I consider myself far from sane...

Something you might want to read. Apparently of the seven or eight that have happened, it was only the first two that weren't Hasbro.

I hope Hasbro at least gives Netflix or Hulu the streaming rights- especially for the newer episodes. I want to watch them legally if at all possible.

But doesn't Hulu only work in the US? I remember trying to watch something on Hulu, but I couldn't because I'm not American.

EDIT:And, upon checking, Netflix doesn't work in the UK. Don't know about anywhere else, though.

Seriously, Hasbro? Killing like 70% of your fanbase (90% of statistics are made up on the spot) many of which who are buying your merchandise? Is that at all a smart move? If you really want a ponopoly, why not do what South Park did and have a website with advertisements and s*** with full episodes?

Look at it from their perspective: they've got their first DVD release coming out next month. Who the hell is going to pay for a DVD of the episodes when they're all free online (and, if I might add, in HD)?
