Huh... Okay then. Maybe I'll give the real game a chance, but I dunno. I'm not a big fan of JRPGs anyways; generally there are just a few that really grab me, and this one doesn't seem to. Issues or not with the demo, the battle system's just kinda... really basic.

From what I've played, it feels like a more refined FFIII battle system where you can save up turns (Default) or take up turns and attack consecutively (Brave) but not being able to anything for a set number of turns. I can definitely see where you are coming from if you think this battle system is "basic". IMO, the battle system is only fun when you face bosses...normal battles not so much.

After playing Danganronpa, I'm hungry for more detective style games. Do you guys recommend Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies for 3DS? I got some Deluxe Digital promotion credit I did not use.

Yes. Yes I do recommend it. It may be a little easier and straightforward than its predecessors but it's got great story, music, and characters. If you haven't played any previous Ace Attorney games, I recommend those too, highly. Well, Justice for All is the weakest one but still has its moments. Never played the Edgeworth game though (and don't want to) so dunno what to say about that, but the Ace Attorney series is great for the story, and if you don't mind games like that with a lot of text and the visual novel style. For the most part the games' stories are self-contained, though, so you don't have to worry about missing any major details if you decide to skip to Dual Destinies. Heck, it even works in the sense that little tidbits get dropped without really being spoiled so that you could go back and play the old games and be like "Oh that's what they were talking about." It's pretty neat like that.

I hope you don't mind dozens of typos though. :P

I'm shooting to get the platinum trophy in Dangan Ronpa. I'm off by 2 other trophies. 1 for getting all the presents and one for getting all the endings in school mode. Which means, I'll get them both at the same time, since the only presents I'm missing are the ones for getting the endings in school mode. Another 2 runs and I should be done! :D

Along side, I've been playing New Super Mario Bros U, which I'm having a lot of fun with. Currently in world 5 while also picking the challenges off slowly.

A friend of mine is letting me borrow Dangan Ronpa. I feel it will get plenty of playtime on my vacation. :)

You're gonna love it. Trust me! :) This is probably the only time where I had to worry about my Vita's battery running out. That's how addicting this game is. I'm also going for my 3rd Platinum trophy in Dangonronpa. I wonder what chapter gets me the most white noise lines?

I've been going through my SNES Collection of games just playing random games... The night before last I played Demons Crest and 100% it. Then last night played and finished Super Castlevania IV. Don't know what I'll play tonight... Most likely go back to playing the Attack on titan fan game.

Which I've gotten pretty good, I feel like a total badass at that game now.

I'm playing Link's Awakening, Donkey Kong Country Returns, A Link Between Worlds, Mario 3D World and Wind Waker HD.

I'm trying to beat all the Zelda games I've never beat before Zelda U comes out, and the other games are just for fun times.

*groan* I've been letting my little brother and cousin play my PS2, since it makes the endless babysitting a bit easier on me and gives me the chance to work on other things that need done without having to constantly hover over them. I just found out that my completed file on Sonic Unleashed got deleted somehow, with my brother having denied done it, and my cousin not knowing how to save a game. (Has trouble even recognizing "Triangle") Now I have to decide whether to let my OCD force me through playing that game again to fix the save file, or try to ignore it and let it drive me nuts. I like the day stages, but there is way too much Werehog in the PS2/Wii version. (I really wish I had a PS3 instead)

Completed School Mode for the first time in DanganRonpa. I ended up getting Chihiro's and Aoi's endings (and also their undergarments lol). 12 more endings to go!

I'll be getting mine shortly. Got 7 endings so far with 799 Monocoins. This is gonna be interesting. Man Byakuya takes too long to max out...and he's still a jerk.

I found, surprisingly, the rec room is the best place for Byakuya.

If you want to know good answers for him there

Maybe there's somewhere else that's better. But I didn't have the patience to find out. >_>

It looks like Library is the sweet spot for Byakuya. I thought Mondo and Aoi had the funniest conversations. Aoi did not get insulted if you talk about her weight and talking about Mondo's hair was pretty classic.

Alright, I picked up my Platinum in Danganronpa. That's my 3rd Platinum trophy and it only took me 38 hours. Forget what I said about Byakuya. Taka took too long to max out. Oh well, Leon, Hifumi, and Junko max out very quickly.

Now back to Bravely Default and for Vita, let's see if I can get Plat #4 from Persona 4 Golden. I'm on my second playthrough.
