Hmm... not quite. Here:

You have the two big dead trees, so obviously the desert supports (or supported) plant life, but deserts don't really have the kind of grass you've put there. They just have small shrubs, and patchy tufts. If you can change the palette I'd go with a more dustier, army/olive green colour, and limit the grass to individual tiles. Just a couple of those slashable bushes scattered around would do.

Those trees are for the graveyard more then the desert aspect. I like them as is honestly. They mix well with the other tiles I have, which is my main focus.

The triple triforce thing seems a bit odd, I think. I dunno, I almost preferred it prior to the grass adding. I dunno.

I agree. It was fine how it was before, you can't always change things how other people like it, that's there opinion. I'll stick with the first.



My FF stuff is turning out good so far. These are the ones I feel are my best work honestly.

Yeah, I like those two screens. One small suggestion though, perhaps make the clouds, or whatever it is in the right shot, maybe make it transparent? Just an idea, but if it doesn't work for you, s'alright too!

Ah yes, the grass tufts are a nice addition. Those easily break up the screens brown theme, without overdoing it. I like using those grass tuft tiles myself.

@Noel: I sorta forgot about those, if you look at some of my older shots in here, you'll see I'm sorta obsessed with those grass tiles lol

@Angeal: I hate how the transparent tiles make the color of the tiles below it look odd though

The screen looks fine, but I really have nothing to say about this screen until you get add water tiles.

That's a very nice screen, Jared, but assuming the river will go in the blue space, that looks like an awful sharp bend...

This is a great shot Jared. I would do something to make the river look more natural. Otherwise it looks wonderful!

I will probably end up changing the river's sides a little bit, to make it curvier.
I started recoloring the water tiles. They look good so far.

Well that's a good thing. Currently the screen looks like it's an 16-bit Zelda game, with an Atari 2600 river going through it. Glad to hear it though.
