Well didn't have the money for Bravely Default this week so I've decided to do something called Goodwill gaming. went to goodwill and looked around and found a PC game called Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition brand new still in the plastic.. and it works fantastic I've heard of this game through GameFAQs for being just so freaking hard.

Well with that being said it seems like a game I'm going to have to play for the fun of it.

Pac Man 2: The New Adventures. Waiting to see how many people actually heard of this obscure game.

I definitely have, I've replayed the game about 3 times. Good stuff.

Just one piece of advice to mitigate immediate frustration and potential quitting of the game early on:
Spoiler

It's not really spoiler worthy, but I figure if you want at least a totally blind playthrough the first time you attempt it then I should spoiler tag it.

I'm finally done with all four parts of Penny Arcade Adventures. It was pretty good, and the ending was awesome. However, I liked the first two games more, and I'm a bit at odds with the mechanics to the game. I mean, the writing for the story is great, but the gameplay itself drags it down a bit. It's not that they aren't fun, but you have to hunt down every individual enemy to scrounge up enough EXP to stand a chance. It makes you just want to rush to the next bit of the story. The end of the game gives you so much stuff and leaves you so overpowered that you can breeze through the rest and get through the story really quickly, but it's a bit disappointing that you have to break the game to enjoy the best parts. The sudden point when you go from struggling to curb-stomping everything is very sudden, and I think a more normal combat system that didn't restrict you to limited enemy battles and allowed you to level up however much you wanted would have helped a lot.

So, yeah. Awesome games, but now that I'm finished with them, I don't think I'll play them again. They're probably just going to sit in my Steam Library forever and never get played again. Next up is seeing how well this computer holds up with Arkham Asylum. I'd like to finally finish this game, now that I've got a controller that should work for it.

I've seen the three routes I think, one goes to Undead Burg, another Lando ruins and one with skeletons that are impossible to kill.

I went with Option one and I've killed the Taurus Demon and  made it to the bridge.

I'm making progress just painfully slow progress. <_<

I finally got Bravely Default! My most anticipated game of 2014. Move over Lightning is boring Final Fanservice XIII! :D This is gonna be amazing. Oh if Ventus only had this game. :P

I wish I had bravely Default... I wish I could say the same LR:FFXIII, I won't be picking that game for a while because frankly I just don't give a damn about the 13 universe anymore.

But bravely Default is something I want to be enjoying!... Well maybe I'll snag it soonish or something whenever moneys not tight.

Ah okay then, you're doing better then "most" people that play it. If you need any help with the game you can PM me or make a general thread on the topic (I'll try to not spoil anything).

Still Working on Dark Souls... I've been taking it in small burst of play, Anyways I've beaten the Bell Gargoyles with the help of Solaire rang the first bell.

And Then I headed down into the Garden area, lit the hidden bonfire behind a wall and grabbed some Elite Knight armor behind two Stone Giants.

Which let me say is not that easy to beat unless you have a +5 Halberd... So far thats where I've made it, and I'm at Level 32 so I think I'm doing pretty good... I guess?

Anyways I don't know why I want to quit this game but something keeps calling me back to it and every time I play it I make it a little farther.

This game is pretty good I guess or I'm just stupid for keep coming back. XD But still I'm enjoying the game as long as I play it in short burst.

I'm three hours into Bravely Default. So far this is one hell of an RPG. I'm loving everything about it so far. Those who like FF3/5's Job system will feel right at home with this game.

Also, I completed the first of I believe 6 Chapters in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc for PSVITA. I'm so glad i got this game instead of LR: FFXIII. The story is keeping me hooked so far. For those of you who don't know, Danganronpa is a visual novel game that combines the qualities of other games in perfect unison. This game is like a mixture of 999/Virtue's Last Reward's death game approach, Persona 3/4's Social Link System, Trauma Team's Forensics missions, and Phoenix Wright's logic games. If you are a fan of most of the games that I mentioned, then I believe this is the game for you. I say it's worth your while if you have a dusty unused PSVita sitting in your room.

Damnit, I'm right back to playing Skyrim. Which is good, because I never beat the game, but bad because it eats up so much time. I just re-modded it and oh man is it amazing to play. :D

Just finished playing Arkham Asylum. Really great game, but Steam's telling me that I've got half the achievements left to go, as well as the rest of the Riddler challenges. Normally, I don't tend to go back and go for all the achievements, but this game was good enough that I wouldn't mind a second playthrough alongside a guide to go for 100%. Not sure if I should do that, or just move on to the next game on my list, Arkham City.

Thing is, with my laptop, while there were never any spots that were unplayable, there were a few lag spikes during Asylum while playing on the lowest settings. You think it'll be able to handle City under similar conditions, or am I asking too much?

The second chapter of Danganronpa is pretty crazy. After the second trial, I was left stunned with how everything turned out. There are A LOT of surprises in that chapter.

Indeed. The whole game is filled with them, and I love it for it! :D

On that note, I finished Dangan Ronpa this morning. It was a matter of 'Oh, I'll go do a thing in an hour and put this down', but next I decided to look up at the time, much more time had passed than I would have liked. XD Now to just avoid spoilers for the second game until that comes out.
