First time trying out PTUX's overworld graphics. I also made the ice in the second picture. Here they are without the falling snow, so you can see the screen better:

Also, that ice is pretty awesome.

Here is the mountain in my title screen:

Now, this mountain will be part of the overworld, and I want to keep the colors of the mountain relatively the same. I already brightened the colors a little bit, but I think they still look a little odd. Now, most of my quest has icy/snowy areas, so I need to make ways to make each area unique (the ice I made for the Frozen Lake is an example). I want this place to look almost like some kind of post-cataclysmic or nuclear winter. Here is what I had so far:

Does anyone have any ideas of how I could make this palette loook better, or if it's fine as it is?

Tip: In a mountain like that, it woulb be better having less colored vegetation. Now, if you were aiming for a Boreal look, you could try trees more like this:

0:13 - 2:13 (this video is not mine)
(the trees change colours).you could try that in one of your areas.

More Mementos stuff. Hopefully I'll have more dungeon shots soon.

I figured as much. I tried something different now.

I'm not worried about the screen itself right now, just the palette.
