The LV3 sword seems to be the same as the one I purchased...same damage level. Is this a bug?

K did some good exploring still missing the level 4 sword is that in level 8 somewhere? Also found an item in the frozen wastes for the instrument but can never figure out what to do with it. It said something about going to lions peak but I talked to everyone there and i got nothing from it. Other than that just missing a few heart pieces which is not much of worry because I got more than enough hearts to tackle the final level! Also You said something about the gemstones being really hard to find and its true I couldn't find a single one.

Yes the level 4 sword is in level 8. You have to bomb a block to open a warp on way to trip a trigger to open the door to go get the boss key. It's on a long walkway, it's a block with a green plus sign on it. I have a picture if you need it.

The guy in Lions Peak is in the building in the top right corner. There is a elderly gentleman standing out front of the building. You might have to talk to him a couple of times.

There is a gem in the grass in Krelaila Savannah.

It is not! You probably found the sword in the third dungeon (darkness & poison), which is the actual L2 sword. I made a same damage buyable one, in order people needed it earlier than the third dungeon, or simply couldn't find the L2 sword.

 

The actual L3 sword is in the fifth dungeon and it's stronger.

I met the guard in rotten plains who said he would open the way to the temple in molten spire, but when I get to the temple, no one is there and the door is sealed. I'm not sure what happened. I either saved immediately after talking to the guard, or possibly used guitar to warp to molten spire instead of walking off the screen after meeting the guard.

I had a similar problem immediately after level 1 in which the essential scripted event with Frozenblood didn't happen and I had to start all over. Hopefully I haven't broken the quest again here!

After talking to the guard did you go to the building in Kumaka Jungle, the one with the guard standing by it? It takes you the the Gergely's Castle where you can buy something and talk to the king. And then......

having some trouble finding level 8.  I have been all over the Rotten Plains.  i do have the golden cape, but i can not find level 8 anywhere.

 

I am also looking for the 100 quiver and 100 bomb bag.  I only have the 50  now.

 

Any ideas?  

 

Edit.  Never mind.  if it is called light and shine, i found it...

Is it possible to use a key out of sequence in Light and Shine (Level 8?)  I can see one in the screen just to the left of the one where all the room shine things (sorry, snowflake like things might describe them better) attack you in the basement.  i have been all over the map, but can not seem to find it.  Please help.  I do have the wand and the shinning shruiken.
