Migo, watching the trailer, I got the impression this was Phantom Hourglass all over again, except with a train instead of a boat. The boomerang seems the same, the grappling hook has turned into a whip, and the Phantom seems to be controlled the same way you control them in PH's battle mode. On top of that, the dungeons seem to be as graphically... bland... as they were in PH. Now, I enjoyed PH, but not enough for a second play-through, and this doesn't make me feel all that pleased with Spirit Tracks, despite the interesting storyline. (My family has financial issues as well, so buying a $30 game is a bit of an ordeal for me.)

So, Migo, can you swear upon your honor that this game is better than Phantom Hourglass?

No. I can't say if you'll like it or not... I can say that I liked it, and I personally kind of enjoyed PH, but in the same way as you. So yes, probably... but I won't put my life on it :/

Wah! I didn't CONFIRM that... you might be a little dissapointed, really. When I said that there is on-foot segments outside of dungeons, that doesn't mean that there has to be an overworld. For all you know, it could be villages and so on... but again, I can't confirm that, so you'll just have to wait and see.

I guess what I'm trying to say, is that don't take everything I say for granted. I've been allowed to say that there may or may not be any Ganondorf this time around, but at the same time, I'm also allowed to say the same about the Tyrannosaurus Rex in Level 5. Take it with a grain of salt... I've been allowed to reveal a few more things when the release is closer... so if I have the time, I'll make a small list once that happens... sadly though, it won't be at much help, seeing as the game will be a few days away anyway. :/

Get a flash card so you can just get the ROM. I have an M3, so I don't need to worry about that kind of stuff. It's about $40 for one, but it's worth it since you can put any DS game on there for free and play it on your DS.

Anyways, back on topic, one thing I really missed from PH were forests. I know there are forests in the game from the trailer, but if there was an area in there where Link could go on foot that'd be great.

Guys, don't let the thread derail from the topic- aka the name of the thread. Okay, yeah. Pirating is bad, but there's no rule against suggesting it. It becomes a major offense when a link or request is posted, though.

As for your dilemma, ZS, I would have to say that I hope as well. I mean, if this game is claimed to be better than PH, then it better prove it with on-foot areas. I really can't get enough of running around using the stylus.

I hope they don't. The flashcards are great for other uses too, like homebrew games and so on. Any self-respecting Zelda fan will buy the game no matter what... and if they don't, they don't have the privilege of calling themselves a fan, seeing as they'd rather steal it instead of supporting it.

I just download the games to try them out and see if I like them, then I go and buy them. It's a great solution to the issue of buying games and not liking them. What I meant was that he could see if it's better then PH and buy it afterwards.

That doesn't make stealing any more okay. It's like saying "Oh, I just borrowed the money I took from the bank to see if I would like them or not... if I do, I'll get a job and earn that money.

OR saying that you just took the diamonds so you would know if you like them or not. It's not okay, and no matter how you put it, Piracy is bad. Sorry, but it's true.
