The flippers are absolutely on the overworld. In fact you need them to get the magic key.
However, you need the hammer to get to the flippers, which is in level 8.

Oh that is good cause I have the hammer. That is one thing I got in Level 8 right away. Thanks I will keep looking in the overworld then.

I just spent 1 hour using the hammer in the overworld but nothing yet. Can you give me a hint? Like is the thing you use the hammer on acutally in the overworld itself or in a cave, cungeon, etc. Thanks

You need to bomb a wall in a cave.
There is a subtle hint where you learned slash.

Also, the red suit can be found nearby. Requires the boots.

OK thanks I will go back to where I found the red suit. I had found that after I got the boots. Thanks for the hint.

I just can not remember where I found the slash and cannot find a cave. I remember going through one to go to another place but for the life of me can find it now. But...........as I was going through the lost woods I just had the thought to try the whistle and when I did a hold opened. It is called "Lost Below" I can not find the key. Unless you need the master key for it. I did have a key that I got in Level 7 and still need it. I used it and what you get is this sword with a red handle. Says if you can master it you can have it. Well I got it but of cousre I did a retry to get my Level 7 key back. Any hints to where that key might be?

Also, the slash was gotten from somewhere around the lake.

Thank you for the hints. I know have what I am thinking is the 3rd sword with the red handle and the flippers. However I have that same problem about not being able to get the master key. After I finally figured out what open the hole in the water I cannot get into it. Then I went and read what someone else said and I guess it is a bug in the build? So back to Level 8 and try to find the keys.

Just wondering....

Were you not able to dive to get to the stairs in the water?
If this is true then the Dive Warp may be broken forcing me to update the quest.

Right. After I hit the little statue if that is what is is, with the hookshot the hole (stairs) opened. But I was unable to get in it. I could get part way on it but that was it. I assume the boss key is in there.

I went to the page you listed and downloaded the upadate. But it had a diffrent name than the one I downloaded to start the game. The first one was Quests-1233078116-package-Requiem.qst. And this new one was just Requiem.qst. So nothing was changed. I thought I would rename the new one to the old one and it changed then. But...still does not work for me. The place where the hole is to go into does change though. It is now just before you go up the stairs and directly across from the litte thing you hit with the hookshot. It is not in the water now.

It is most likely the build I am using. I do not know how to change or upgrade it as my son was the one who sets everything up for me with the builds, etc. I just download the games and play. And he cannot help me anymore.

I saw Level 9 once but I forgot. Could you give me a hint to where it is? At least I think I saw it once. LOL

Thanks that was a good hint. I was thinking it was up there somewhere. I have been running around in Level 9 now since then and getting nowhere fast. LOL. I have found the boss key however. Did you say it is possible to beat this level without the Magic Key. I did find one or two keys but that has been it since.

Yes.

It is possible to complete the level without the magic Key, albeit not too easily.
