I don't think I'll be Brawling today since I have places to go and it's Mother's Day today. icon_frown.gif

Well, I don't really know if anyone plays everyday. I haven't played in quite awhile now. Heck, I hardly use my Wii at all lately, though I probably won't be able to stop playing once Tales of Graces comes out. Please don't shoot me.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been out for over a year. As such, this topic is now unpinned.

Anywho, I've ideas what they probably will be doing next installment. Aside from Downloadable content, think they could do something like Team moves? Have Mario ride Yoshi, Bowser kidnap Peach, Link guard Zelda, Donkey Kong throw Diddy around, who knows?

What about Snake and Samus' team move...? icon_heh.gif

*ehem* That does sound interesting. The next one is more likely to come out on the DS then anything though. The creator did say he liked the idea quite a bit.

I think the idea should be taken a step further, and have team characters. Basically, certain characters are allowed to pair up and be used as one person, like the Ice Climbers. Examples would be Mario riding Yoshi, Toon Link and Tetra (assuming she gets added), etc. And there would be a button to switch which one's the one being controlled, and which one's the follower. And of course, they'd have team moves.

I like the way Smash Bros. is in the first place... I say don't change anything for real, just add new characters and stages.

Agreed with Prospekt. But it would be nice to see more WW characters there, plus Megaman.

Honestly, what they really need to new is bring in more characters from series they have but overlook. For instance, EarthBound has two characters, two stages, and about five trophies. Now compare that to Pokemon's six characters, three stages, and enumerable trophies. There's a lot of bias there. The Metroid series especially needs more characters, such as Sylux and Rundas.

I'd like to see Tetra/Toon Zelda, but nothing more. Zelda is one of those games that have begun to get a little over represented. I wouldn't mind a Tales character or two. icon_razz.gif They had Lloyd in SC:Legends, so why not Brawl? ,:3 Regardless, I think Russ has a point about some games being under-represented. I also think that Shadow and some other Sonic characters should become available.

!!!

That's an idea! Modes that let you play 'em "old style," like how they used to work back in N64, GC, and then Wii formats!

But are they really going DS? Sounds like a good way for them to make more money instead of actually being convenient. :/

Not exactly. If they make a DS Smash Bros. it should be with 2D sprites. It would look better than the DS could do with 3D, and it would be less data to send, which means less online lag. And seriously, they can make some sick 2D stuff. A lot of you guys have seen shots or vids of M&L 3, right?

Holy crap. Someone else that thinks Rundas deserves to be in Smash. icon_eek.gif You, sir, win the internet.

Ever since I saw him use some of his ice stuff in Prime 3, I though "He needs to be in Brawl." Seriously, he would be perfect for it.

One word: Tails. When I saw that Sonic got in, I was desperately hoping Tails would get in too. But alas, no.

My father has been too tired to play World of Warcraft with me recently so I'm gonna play some Brawl. Who wants to join me?
