Well I haven't been able to play FFX-2 International, I've gotta get me a Component cable for the ps2 where I can at least play the game and look at such a blury image...

And with getting Left 4 dead 2 for free off of steam, I'll be starting it up soon, and also started playing Dragons Nest another game from steam (MMO).

And I've been playing that this morning on and off, but it won't be something that I can play for long amounts of time.

One reaosn for that is I'm not always near the grand old highspeed but when I am I'll be playing it. :P

Its actully pretty fun for my first MMORPG. :)

I just started playing The Wonderful 101 for Wii U. So far, it's very enjoyable. The gameplay is pretty much what you would expect from a Platinum game. It's the same Fast-paced high action gameplay that makes Platinum games so awesome. It plays very much like Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising. The only thing I'm not digging are the slow-paced cutscenes.

I've been looking forward to playing that game when I get a Wii U, one reason it seems like it might be like Pikmin without all the boring game play.

Don't get me wrong I like pikmin but the game can get boring pretty fast. :P

Anyways, I've started wondering If introducing the Persona games to my Mother was a good ideal? She started Persona 3 FES like a few weeks ago and she has been pulling all nighters one too many times... I have to say through see likes it so much that she wanted to find the first two games...

I've been successful on finding Persona 2: Eternal Punishment (snagged it up for $60) but finding the first persona will be pretty hard to find, Just gotta do some searching around for someone who has one for sell around where I live.

Tried out StarMade today.

It's a pretty conspicuous Minecraft clone, but it has its merits. With further development, it could be a pretty sweet game. Right now controls are clunky and the physics are lacking, but it's still in alpha so I'm hoping all that will be smoothed out by the time they reach the official release.

Their biggest design problem at the moment is actually the direct result of their use of minecraft physics. All the planets spawn flat, because there's no elegant way to make a player walk across the surface of a sphere made of cubes. But if they were to make all their blocks slightly tapered, the problem would go away instantly.

Though one minor flaw I found with this game is that the QT events are very confusing. I died so many times because of QT events.

Oh man I hate QT events, I don't know why they must exist. They do nothing but make me angry. <_<

And tried the FFX-2 International out... and damn the translation is... well trying find the word... piss poor.

I think I'll just stay away from the International version of this game and find something else to play.

I've narrowed my list of games to play down to FFX International, Blue Dragon.

I have owned Super Smash Bros. Melee for more than half of my life, I have had everything but one stage unlocked in it for most of that time, and today I sat down in front of my old 10" screen and unlocked that last stage.

I feel alive, man.  Today is a good day.

I just beat Bastion and it was one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I can recall. The game actually tells a compelling story and by the end of it I was totally invested in the fate of the worst. Also, amazing soundtrack and a pretty fun combat system. I know I'm super late to that party, but seriously give it a shot if you haven't played it yet.

So I've basically gone full swing into playing Touhou again, and it is glorious. Had a near-failed run of Perfect Cherry Blossom where I was on my last continue. The last half really did a number on me. ._.

I've also been trying out the Bravely Default demo. It's pretty neat. Since I dropped from hard to normal, I've been enjoying it a fair bit. The problem I had with hard wasn't so much that it was difficult, but just tedious. Everything seemed to take forever to kill. ._.

I've also been thinking of playing Etrian Odyssey II soon. Maybe once I got my 6th member of my Pokemon X team. X3

Because of Tropical Freeze coming out next month, I decided to use my $10 off to get DKC Returns 3D for the 3DS. I have to say, despite the game running at a lower resolution at 30 FPS, I actually like the controls on this version better than the Wii. I thought the motion controls were just not necessary on the Wii version.

bastion is cool, but I dislike not being able to return to previous areas to collect stuff you may have missed :/

Tore through Metroid: Zero Mission in 1:51 last night. That was pretty fun. I started playing Mega Man Battle Network after that, because I always forget how much fun that game is.

So Moosh and I decided to privately race the Sonic Advance games. Advance 1 was tons of fun, and Moosh just barely won. Having so much fun with that, we moved onto Advance 2... and oh lord why? I had remembered not liking it when I played years ago, and now I remember why. It mercilessly throws you into death traps, enemies, bottomless pits, etc. that you'd have to be clairvoyant to avoid. And don't even get me started on the bosses. It just... I think my soul has been sucked out. The game literally left us both physically ill; Moosh had fever and chills after he stopped playing, and I developed an ear infection. At least it had good music and a good final boss, I suppose, but just... good lord Sega, how the heck did you ever think this game was a good idea?

Hey, do you have those games on an emulator or on the actual cartridge? If you've got them on emulator, would you mind doing me a favor and ripping the starry background from inside the asteroid that's the final level of MMBN4? I really want that background for my quest, but I have the game on the actual cartridge, and I hated that game to where I don't think I could stand playing through it yet again.
