So I was in bed, falling asleep. The sun was starting to pop up since it was around 6am, and when I was barely losing consciousness, I heard someone just above my face make a soft inhuman sound, sounded like gurgling or something. It was loud enough to bolt me wide awake and freak me out. This was when my room was silent so I was put on edge... was it anxiety? Night terror? Some form of minor sleep paralysis? I am honestly curious now as it sounded too real, and I have had some convincing experiences that were results of the above. I just never had anything like this happen to me before.

I haven't had that exactly happen to me before, but I have been almost asleep and then hear something that probably was just in my head quickly wake me up before.

I've had something similar to that happen to me, Shane. I swear one time I heard someone in my room creeping around and think it's my brother sneaking around to take something without asking me. Then I heard something muttered like right next to my ear so I jolt up to catch him and ask what the hell he's doing, but no one was there.

Also, this is my 100th post. So there's that. Huzzah

Well, today was certainly something. Around 11:30 this morning, some asshole (who was apparently on drugs) fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a telephone pole right next to a power sub-station (or whatever it's called), which caused a power outage for half the city.

This was supposed to be fixed by 3:00 PM.

It is currently 10:15 PM, and the power is still not back on yet.

In fact, the people who tried to fix it made things worse. Around 7ish, they tried to bring the power back on, but that just caused a surge that blew up 5 different transformers, setting their poles on fire. I had to go to my aunt's house just to be able to get wifi to do my homework. Now they're saying it will be working by 11:30, but everyone knows it won't. I'm very curious to see how the school district will handle this tomorrow.

Ouch, that really sucks. Hard to believe that one idiot like that can cause major damage to a whole city. Hope things get better for you over there.

As for me, I'm beginning to kind of fit into college. It's already been 2 weeks and the process of adapting to the college is kinda slow, but I'm getting there. With how much Maths I'm doing though, I can't see myself hating the college in any way :P

Having no power always sucks. Hope things get better. Also great to hear you're fitting in college, Eddy.

Been finishing my last week of Term 3. I've submitted the biggest assignment I have done in school, and this will decide if I pass or not. If not, I'll have to redo this one assignment next year. It won't be a big deal since I'm sure I'll be able to finish it faster than the first time, and make it better too. But I hope I don't have to do that at all.

I had a dream last night that the girl I'm going to visit on Sunday kissed me. Jesus, I hate when I get this way. I'd write it off but the same girl kissed me in a dream the same day last year.

There is some maaaaaajor flooding going on where I live.  I'm fortunate enough to live in a part of town that isn't badly affected by it (I did have to get out and clear debris with a shovel so the water would flow properly and wouldn't start seeping into the house), but others aren't as lucky...

I was also informed that a tax building got nearly entire submerged and collapsed from it, as well.  It's really bad.  Of course, I don't know what the people downtown were thinking when they built part of the city in a DRAINED LAKE and didn't think it needed plenty of storm drains and proper infrastructure.

On a slightly lighter note, I did see a picture of some people taking a small boat down the road in it... It was in a more suburban area where the flooding isn't so bad and absolutely no one is driving.

Egh, we got some flooding near us right now thanks to moisture from Hurricane Joaquin leaking in.  x.x;

There's this band I've been loving lately by the name of Cimorelli. Their music has helped me so much when it comes to motivation, inspiration and everything. I sometimes play their music on my tablet while playing one of the zelda quests or some other game site.

I used to be SoStaci, but now I have found myself and thus I am MermaidCim.

I'm going to Homecoming with my friend. She's really excited, but I'm just doing it to be nice. I don't even like her that much! I hope that's not wrong of me to do.

Okay, this is SUPER weird, but sometimes when I fall asleep I have a dream of a puppy with white, human-like teeth. But when you get up close to it, it would make this puff of black fog around it. I would instantly wake up then! :P  :XD:

Whoa, that flood damage is awful. I feel bad for all the people that are getting hammered by this hurricane. Around where I live, all I really had was a good day and a half of steady rain. Then again, four years ago, we got flooded out BIG TIME by Hurricane Irene. Here are some pictures of the flood that happened literally RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD from my house:

An entire first floor of a house submerged:

The Hoss's by my house underwater:

The Pizza Hut right down the road from where I currently work on Hershey Park Drive, sunken:

I shudder to think what would have happened if I was even a house farther down the road. I really feel bad for the victims of the current flooding crisis. But yeah, that and Hummelstown getting flooded in September of 2011 was pretty crazy. It was a huge pain in the ass to get to my house, since police officers were shooing people away from filming and taking pictures, and my house is very close to the highway's exit.

My area always gets the tail-ends of cyclones. Last year we had a minor flood and a lot trees fell yet there was quite a lot of damage. I can't imagine an actual flood or cyclone/hurricane though.
