So hey, I'm gonna be enrolling to college tomorrow. With my successful GCSE results, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle to get my courses sorted out.

Dis gun b gud :P

I keep thinking you're saying GSC exams, then wondering what the purpose of a test about Johto would be.

Remember when I said I wasn't scared of anything? You probably don't, but that was almost a year ago.

Last night however, before I went to bed, I went downstairs to get myself a bedtime snack. As I got down, our cat was engrossed by a strange thing. I took a closer look, thinking it was a leaf, but then it moved. And that's when I realized...

It was a FROG (at first I thought it was a toad). That made me scream in terror because I was frightened by them (the same thing goes to toads), especially by the way they jump. Somehow, it got into the house and my cat wanted to play with it (she's never seen it before), and I have to be honest, the frog was more scared than I was.

I tried calling my mom for help, but she was already deep asleep (this morning, she admitted she thought it was a dream), but thankfully my dad was still awake, and was more than happy to get that little fart out of the house. I could've taken care of it myself, but I just can't overcome my childhood fear. :worried:

Frogs, Lizards and Snakes are nothing to me.  lol....

None of the above bother me. It's bees that I'm afraid of. NO! Not the bees! NOT THE BEES! AHHHHHHHH! But yeah, over 22 years after getting stung for the first time, and I'm still just as afraid of them as when I was little. I don't know why I haven't gotten over my melissaphobia. Video game bees, wasps, hornets, etc don't scare me at all; it's them in real life that I'm afraid of.

Yeah me and my dad ran into this mother of a Spider when we stopped off at our storage space a few weeks ago.  It was right smack on the door!

Thankfully my dad had his golf clubs on hand and I smacked it out of it's web and STOMPED the mofo when it hit the ground.  >.<;;;;;

HAAAATTTTEEEE SPIDERS!!!

it's infested with spiders

I can't stand spiders of any size. I don't mind smaller spiders and I usually just shove them out of my house, but anything bigger I flip the fuck out.

And seeing how I'm from the city, I'm definitely not used to the countryside. Over in London, I rarely find any insects anywhere. I don't see flies or bugs wherever I go, even at home. Though when I go to Portugal, I kinda get freaked out with all of these insects everywhere. Obviously I don't scream in terror and run, but I kinda feel a bit uneasy in the forests and away from towns and villages.

Surprised work wasn't as hellish as I thought it would be. Some worthless girl that never showed up more than 25% of the time finally quit. It's a wonder she didn't get fired behind literally showing up whenever she felt like it. I would probably be fired before it even got close to a habit. Like the third time I called off in the same week, I bet I would be either fired or at least on very thin ice. Like I said, the girl almost never showed up for work and only had 4 hour shifts doing piss easy work (being a cashier) and only had to work like 4-5 days a week at 4 hours a day.

I get so peeved when these young kids get jobs where I work and before they're even clocked in, they're complaining about "being tired". For some reason, it's usually the males that do that kind of whining. Do they have ANY idea what I go through on a daily basis? Most of the days that I work Monday through Thursday I work nine hours. NINE hours of pushing a large number of shopping carts at a time in extreme heat and cold, taking out trash, doing heavy lifting, helping customers load their cars, helping customers find items and much more, frequently having to do things that I shouldn't have to (i.e I'm expected to spot mop Produce despite there being 5 people working back there). Do you see me whining about it? HELL NO. It kills me when someone that has it easy whines about it being "too hard".

Most of the cashiers couldn't handle my position at all. Half of them can't even handle more than 3 large carts or 5-6 small carts at a time. And when it's busy, especially around holidays, you gotta be able to bring up several carts at a time. My personal best is 9 large carts by hand, but it's difficult to steer, so I usually just do 5-6 at a time. I can grab and back them into other carts up to five at a time. As for the little ones, the most I've ever done in one shot was 13 of them, as I never had a chance to attempt more than that. The older guy that does my job can bring up even more than I can (he's been doing that for 25 years and counting), although he tends to play around and goof off. Still, where he may lack in intelligence he sure as hell makes up for it by his sheer strength.

So in summary, I can't bring up quite as many carts in one trip as the older guy, but I park them back up front much faster and more efficiently than he does. Then again, I'm really big on efficiency anyway; I try to calculate how many of each cart to grab to minimize the number of trips to each cart corral. My goal is to get them all within two trips, although when it's really busy or if I'm just coming back from lunch, three trips may be necessary. My technique is to get 5-6 large carts and lift up the back of one of the small carts so I can pull 2 small ones behind me with my left hand while steering the 5-6 large carts with my right hand. Alternatively, I may do the same with 2 large carts with up to 10-12 small carts. I have it down to a science now after a year and a half of cart pushing. To think 6 large carts used to be near impossible for me to budge when I started and now I can push them like they're nothing. Impressive to see how much strength I've built up. That and when I began, I lasted an hour before my feet killed me. Now, I can make it all day, although the shoes are off the moment I get in the door.

My whole body aches. I decided I wasn't taking my New Year's resolution seriously enough (I'm well aware it's September) and worked out a little too hard today. My arms feel like they're going to fall off. Worth it.

Also, on the topic of spiders above; I'm one of the few people I know who doesn't mind spiders. Now scorpions? Fuck that. If the devil got to release one creature from hell, scorpions are definitely it.

Oh God, that spider picture. I'm fine with frogs, snakes and lizards, but some bugs and spiders creep me out to the point of just seeing an image makes me paranoid.

Chances are a lot of these people you are describing have never had to do any real work in their life, until they get an actual job.  Maybe they didn't have chores at home.  Not having much asked of a person can often bring a sense of entitlement, as if one deserves things without needing to earn them in some way.  In the old days, spoiled rotten people was mostly limited to just some people from rich families, or upper middle class at the very least.  With millennials, it has certainly expanded from that.  You don't have to come from money to be spoiled rotten anymore.  People like that need a dose of reality, because they have not been properly prepped for the real world.  If a manager hears them complain about doing a small amount of work, they need to be told "tough".  It's all within the generation of participation trophy winners, getting rewarded under cases of very low standards of expectation.  Even coming in last place earns an award, because we are all special snowflakes (barf).

Okay, I am done.

School started weeks ago where I live.

Homeschool.

Also it didn't start because I was told I needed to get my shit together better (eg. sleep patterns) so it's gonna start next week. Bit happy about that and disappointed because a lot of shit has been getting postponed as of late.
