If you hit Esc while on the file selection screen after playing LI, (so you'd have to start playing it, retry/save, then do this) and hit the last option,(can't remember for the life of me) and hit MIDI Info, you can save the midis. BUT, you still may want to ask and make sure it's alright to take them, since something may be custom, and you want to make sure you credit the right people.

Yeah, you've seen me! Thanks for the information, I'm going to PM DFW when I've the time, because she seems to be often here. And I think she's one of the right people to speak about it, because she's one of the makers. icon_smile.gif
DFW, prepare you to get a PM from me. icon_twisted.gif

I don't see any PM.... Regardless, those are mainly Duke Nukem songs and you should credit those authors.

Actually, I was a little curious myself as to where the music came from. But Duke Nukem? Wow, didn't see that coming. icon_razz.gif If you don't mind my asking, but which Duke Nukem and for what?

Duke 3d + Plutonium Pack + various Duke 3d add-ons out there. So I pulled the music from a variety of Duke3d sources. But the majority of it was from Robert Prince and Lee Jackson. (I'm not entirely sure on those names, but the ending credits of Lost Isle has them correct)

Wolfie, don't forget that there are some Doom midis as well and a couple of random songs, some edited/made by me. icon_wink.gif

Interesting to see the blood/horror discussion on the previous page... Maybe there should have been a warning that LI may not be suitable for children and sensitive people, but anyone who read any of the LI previews probably realized that it wasn't goint to be a happy happy joy joy kind of game... *shrugs*

I don't mind the rating though, at least he gave a reason for the mediocre rating unlike some people. icon_smile.gif There used to be a time when I stressed over the ratings of my quests but now I just don't care. I know many people love LI and I am proud of it, that's what matters.

Bad news on LI2: Since Zelda Classic's furure seems dark and there's still no sign of a new stable version, I'm losing interest again and finding other things to do. I have a passion for game making, but I have to find a tool to make my new games with.

Doom as well? I recognized some of the music myself. (The ones from Final Fantasy specifically.) So there's no problems with extracting them and using them then, so long as I credit the right people?

For LI2, why not just stick to the Lost Isle specific build? It worked the first time, right? (Not trying to nag for another LI, but I'm just saying. icon_razz.gif)

Hi Folks

Lost Isle is a real good quest :-)

But there is an "error" in the manual , you CAN buy Potions and Shields - and the shop is not very well hidden, i found the entrance the first time i was on that screen ....;-)

( but you need the ladder to enter the shop room - and the boomer )

There is no error in the readme file, I intentionally said you can't buy those things so that when you found one of the two shops that sells them to you, it'd be a nice, pleasant surprise!

Triforce dungeon 1 can be accessed at the northwest corner of the swamps. There should be a large stone block. Stand next to it and blow your Ocarina, and it will disappear. Then walk north up the very narrow strip of beach, leading to a cave that leads to the first triforce dungeon.

Triforce dungeon 2 is found near the center of the lava flows. I don't recall that even being the second one I found, as they don't have to be done in order anyway. This one is too hard for me to explain, but somewhere in the lava flows is a skull on a post sort of barrier that can only be lifted by throwing the boomerang at a trigger that is close to the regular dungeon 2 entrance, so you would of course need to get that first.

I am not sure if you meant triforce dungeon 2 or just regular dungeon 2, though. Regular dungeon 2 can also be found in the lava flows, and is accessed by a portal that you have to sort of wind around in order to get there. If you can find another stone block that you need the ocarina to get past (in the western part of the lava flows), then you are on the right track, as that path leads the way.

Or just watch the walkthrough videos I'm putting up on my youtube channel and those will detail it in video form what to do and where to go. icon_smile.gif
