Its in the lava flows to the east. Make sure after level 1 you snag the bracelet in the flows and the ocarina in the tahou woods before tackling level 2.

There's a complete Lost Isle walkthrough here: http://www.youtube.c...4D5F68CFA7284DC

My comment on the quest: "Uhm.... Lost Isle is the best quest I ever tried to play! It's GREAT! icon_biggrin.gif Great tiles, overworld, boss battles (excpet for 1st and 2nd boss battle), dungeon.
I only found the storyline too frightening and the atmosphere is very frightening, too.
The Oderra Catacombs creates a very bad and brutal atmosphere, making this quest not suitable for young children! That's why I voted the quest only 3 stars! icon_frown.gif".
The Catacombs are bad and have got a violent and terrible atmosphere, with dead people and blood almost everywhere! (You can see it in the walkthrough I linked to).
The basic idea is great, but the bad and violent tiles make this game absolutely unsuitable for children! This is Zelda, not a 18+ game!

Well, I think exactly the creepyness of LI is what makes it so great. Sure, the gameplay and design are great, but the atmosphere is beyond great.
And about it beeing too violent for a Zelda game... did you ever play OoT Bottom of the Well / Shadow Temple?

Boss battle are good, but they could be better! The first two bosses, compared to the great and vast levels, are too easy and "basic".
The third boss could be so better! icon_frown.gif
The fourth boss is very good.... but I expected a harder boss battle for a hard level like Plague Fortress! icon_frown.gif
Only last boss is GREAT! icon_biggrin.gif

So.... A great quest.... but not the quest I expected to play!

I love this game! It's really hard. An awesome game! (With the awesome fish, er, arrows!)
I found only a few bugs. icon_lol.gif
I loved the dream! Very cool, a lynel who knows the developpers. XD
And...I HATED the Catacombs and the Death Cave! icon_lol.gif It was terrible, frightening, bloody! And there wasn't lava..it was blood. The crying faces on the floor were frightening, too...a terrible AND hard dungeon! I always wanted to exit the cave, but I needed the sword to kill the Plague-Boss.

I was happy when I heard that there were unlimited potions in the game. =D
I like the Svalbard-Boss! A great custom boss! I love ice attacks!
The story is great, too. And the Final Boss is HARD. I've never beated him. These Octorocs are bad.
You two should work on a second quest. Wanna LI 2 XD.

I always wanted to open LI with Zquest (damn password X)) to look how it's interior is.^^
Could I get the MIDIs from LI? I find them great! *Horgrus Temple fanatic* If I use them in my quest, your names comes in the credits, of curse. icon_biggrin.gif

It's funny that years after this game was released people are still posting it's "release page" icon_razz.gif

I guess you can say that the quest isn't for the faint of heart, especially the catacombs and the doom cave beneath it. Those things that you mentioned a dislike for is a part of what I like about it, just like Sheik. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Some can't deal with real blood, and some can't deal with animated blood either. Stay away from the Itchy and Scratchy Show on the Simpsons too.

Wow, he knocked the quest down a few slots on the top rated. LOL All because of blood. Sorry, but some people get offended easily. I guess I should have put a warning on it, but how else were we to make the catacombs as scary as it was? It was downright freaky. You have absolutely no idea what was coming next. If they put blood and dead people in, what the heck is the boss gonna be?! Its that type of scary unknown that made the catacombs great.

Hey, don't ignore my post! XD A compliment from me is rare and wanted by everyone! (<- I'm joking lol icon_smile.gif )
Could I get the MIDIs, pleaaase! icon_redface.gif For more informations why, check my other post. (XD)

As I said, I find the doom cave and the catacombs frightening and terrible and I ''hate'' them in a...cool, positive way. =)
And how you said, DarkFlameWolf, there was tension and unknown who almost killed me (and ennemies too, lol).

I don't think that's a valid reason at all to be honest. Now, THP is covered with blood all over it. Heck, at one point, Hyrule Castle Town is attacked, and a lot of people are killed. And yes, you can see the bodies... lying in their own pools of blood. XD That's in the second demo icon_razz.gif

Anyways, I don't think that a rating that's low should be based on mature content. That isn't fair at all. It's like if people should give GTA IV a 4, just because it's a violent game. That's what the developer intended, and if you can't handle that as a player, you shouldn't be playing the game icon_shrug.gif

Anyways, I just had a dream about this game, and now I want to play it again, so I guess it's time to plug in my Xbox 360-controller... DFW, if I end up playing this all the way through, expect a long and seriously written (and professionally) review of the game sometime in the future icon_razz.gif (Professionally, cause reviewing games is my job irl. Someone seriously gave it a bad rating for blood? Well that's kind of lame...

As for me, I loved the catacombs. Creepiest thing I've ever seen in a ZC quest. icon_thumbsup.gif

I had heard about the catacombs being bloody before I went in,but damn, I was not expect that. The music, the atmosphere and, just...everything, made it damn creepy. You hit the mark there. icon_smile.gif

But I think a note-worthy mention in the dream world there. Now that was funny and strange. icon_xd.gif

I was actually taking another run in my computer science class, since I was done all my work for the semester. (Leaving me about a week of free computer time. icon_xd.gif Between extra programming, Touhou and LI, I had a lot to keep me busy. icon_razz.gif)
