Replaying Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel. Fantastic game. I enjoy it more than the official megaman games.

Well, I just bought Arkham Asylum and Arkham City off the Humble Bundle, but I haven't gotten the keys to download them yet. I've played Asylum a bit before, but it'll be nice to have my own copy. I've never finished it, and only got as far as the second Scarecrow sequence, but it was a lot of fun when I played it. Also, this time I have an actual PC controller, so this should be a bit easier to play.
By the way, the Bundle came with a couple of the FEAR games. The only first-person games I've ever played before were Minecraft and the two Portal games. How difficult are these when it comes to first-person shooters? I'll give them a try, but I'd like to know exactly how out of my league I'm going to be. (I only bought the set for the Batman games, and maybe Scribblenauts with my little brother.)

I'm sure people know that I'm playing Pokemon X, but also I've started playing The Binding of Isaac and this game has a strange charm to it I like it so far but damn I don't know why its so hard.

Finally decided to continue Mario and Luigi Dream Team after I'd forgotten to finish it.

It's a combination of skill, luck, and patience. Once you start learning enemy patterns and movements as well as devising your own strategies and learning the weapons. Once you start unlocking more items, some of these can be very helpful for a run. There's a lot of depth to this game (no pun intended, go away Evan), and it's quite fun. I'm still trying to chase the coveted Platinum God achievement before the remake comes out, but there are two little annoying obstacles standing in my way. Those being the Dark Boy achievement (no damage on The Depths) and trying to find that damn Dead Dove item. Someday, you are mine...
Oh, and if you need help learning the items, check out the wiki, it helped me a lot. Then I memorized everything because I have no life. ![]()

Playing some Terraria at the moment. Got really lucky getting a Poison Staff shortly after starting Hardmode and then a Blood Moon resulted in me getting a full set of Frost Armor and I used all of the Palladium I mined to make the mage set of Palladium armor for healing purposes. Went back to farm Black Recluses in hopes of making money and a few Poison Staff drops later, I got a Mythical one (the best modifier for a magic weapon). With all of my awesome equipment, I slew any Wyvern that even attempted to kill me. A few kills later, Frozen Wings are mine! I am now preparing for the Destroyer and planning to make a Crystal Shard farm so I can make a Crystal Storm spellbook and see about getting myself set up to kill Plantera.

So far, I've had the most success running Wing Kirby as his charge attack gives him a few moments of invincibility which I can easily abuse. It has proven vital for me defeating Masked Dedede and its dive bomb attack also deals considerable damage. With it, I have been able to defeat all of the bosses up to Wham Bam Jewel flawlessly. Still need to work out a strategy for Galatica Knight because he still defeats me every time.

I don't remember what power I used, but there was one that made nearly the entire arena rather easy. If I remember right, there's a particular power where you deal damage to enemies that touch you while guarding or something. I think I just camped somewhere and waited for all the aggressive enemies to kill themselves. Wasn't it Mirror? Either that, or Plasma/Spark/Whatever-the-game-called-it and it's Control Pad-Powered electric charge.
Anyways, I finished Circle of the Moon a while back (My Humble Bundle games still haven't shown up yet) and I'm playing Harmony of Dissonance now. I really don't like the glowing effect on Juste Belmont, and found a hack that removes it, but I'm not sure if it will affect my saved games or not. I mean, it's just a graphics edit, but would applying the patch (IPS format) be enough to screw over my save file? I'm far enough in the game that I can just deal with the annoyance if fixing it means having to start over.
Speaking of hacks, I happened to find one for Harmony of Dissonance that I plan on playing around with once I finish the normal game. It adds a bunch of new playable characters like Mario or Mega Man to the game, as well as others like two versions of Simon (from the NES games), an alternative Juste, and Julius Belmont.(from one of the Sorrow games, I think)

I beat Super Metroid in one sitting with no deaths last night. That was pretty fun. I thought it took me about 3 1/2 hours or so, but when I was pretty sad when I finished the game, then checked my save file (I saved at the point of no return on Tourian) and saw 2:57. D:
I was thisclose to an under 3 hour run! Ah well, next time perhaps. Didn't get to start LttP however since had other things going on throughout the weekend. Hoping to get it started either tonight or tomorrow and finish it by Thursday. Might have to settle with the GBA port however.
