That looks amazing Shane! No complaints here!

This screenshot is not complete, but I just thought I'd put it up for you all to see.

Any suggestions before I finish this screen?

Love it, maybe a little pot happy, but I love it. Also I spy a torch pillar (I guess that's what you call them) that's differently coloured. icon_razz.gif

Yeah, there are secrets hidden under one of them, and a few other things. I wish someone would update the GB Power Bracelet in the script database since the newer builds break it due to the LWeapon that it uses not being affected by gravity. Also, it breaks any other scripts that make link invisible. It needs an update. I would love to use it.

I am assuming it is the first room of the dungeon. It looks wrong that there are enemies at all in that room. Very unlike tLoZ. Other than that it is a fine GBC Zelda screen, well done.

I'm honestly not sure what to really do about that. It's more or less just supposed to be... not there, if you get what I mean. It's just to be the border around the overworld, so I'm not sure how to detail it and have it make sense at the same time. Boulders, rocks, etc. would just seem too odd, honestly. icon_shrug.gif

You can reduce the size of the mountain visible on the screen(s).

No enemies or obstacles have been added to the Lava dungeon yet. Those screens are a remake of a dungeon I made in Classic. I just wanted to get a feel for a Fire Temple setting in Pure.

The layout is excellent. THIS is how you make Pure dungeons people. Although I think in your fire dungeon, you can use a different color red for your floor. It has a little too much of that basic red palette.

I just wanted to reply to this: Maybe instead of having the edge of your ove rworld be a mountain like that, why not re-draw the cliffs using tiles so it looks like the over world is on top of a cliff? You could then use water, or trees, or even clouds down below to make it looks less empty. On the same note, you could have clouds appear on top of the mountains as well for a "edge of the world" affect.

Thanks, Dawnlight icon_smile.gif I agree about there being a bit too much red. It was why I made the lava more orange as opposed to the redish default colors. Not to mention, I feel that the orange looks more realistic. I was thinking of either A) using yellow/ greenish floor tiles, or B) adding some sort of different colored decoration to the bottom part of the walls. I'm not terribly sure. I really love the color scheme in SS's Fire Sanctuary, and at the end of the day, I'm going for a similar feel. I am also using the Donkey Kong Country 2 Lava Level theme in the dungeon. It fit's quite nicely.

Two more screens from me to show off. I'm not entirely set with how they look, so I will improve them.

As a fan of the GBC graphics, I love them. The overworld screen is nice and open, makes the area feel expansive, and makes me want to explore it. The dungeon screen has an odd shape which makes some of the placements of objects seem odd to me, but its still pretty basic, solid screen.

Love the brighter lava. It just looks more rich, and hot!

The DKC2 music looks like it works out, but I can imagine both of the SS fire dungeons music working better. Too bad there aren't any midi's of them.

This would be the first screen I have made in at least a year and a half. It's a re-envisioning of a past quest. I have told a few people about it, but other then that, it's still not public knowledge. I do plan on adding some scripts to this classic gem of a quest, but I want to get a good start on the screen designing, and setup of it before I do that. I have added some bushes to the bottom of the screen, above the trees, since I took this screenshot. icon_smile.gif I'm very excited about this project!
