I modified my boss script to make the type of temporary defense able to be switched between blocking and ignoring. I also allowed a couple other changes using the Reverse Patra script to figure out the method of doing so. I'm not entirely sure if I did it correctly just yet. It's late (again), and I had to spend a majority of the day babysitting without much time for working on this.

Are you a baby sitter just curious. So I myself have been raping the editor lately and will soon be glad to release funshine dx which is a completed version of funshine just with backgrounds more enemies new items and all that good stuff. Plus I never released funshine completed by itself so this is gonna be something good.

If I myself was able to get lost playing my quest for hours certainly you'll enjoy the free roam adventure too.

No, I'm living with my parents while going to college. The next college quarter hasn't started yet, and my mom is taking my younger siblings to a sort of summer camp at the amateur theater group in town. They're gone for most of the day, so I have to babysit my little brother. I wish I was an actual babysitter, then I'd actually be getting paid.

Today, I continued work on my Game-Boy-style map. The world I envision has huge cliffs and daunting mountains, but I realized today that Game Boy cliffs don't convey a sense of height very well. This is especially true when the bottom edge of a ledge is not visible.

To address this, I created some very simple shadow tiles to layer translucently behind mountains in the game. The results are astonishing! It gives the whole world more depth and more character. I hope that others will appreciate that small graphical detail when they play the quest. :)

Well, I'd be lying if I said I was the first to use shadows in a tileset. :P I just didn't recognize what an impact they have until yesterday. I would show a picture if I were on the right computer.

Yes. In the string editor, click the black box in the attributes tab. You can choose a tile as a border for your dialogue box. The tile has to be the upper left corner of the box, I think. To give it a black background, just give the tile you choose a black background.
