How Do I Play Zelda? Part 5

 

I go through Level 4, the Zora's Floodgate, which is a pretty large maze-like dungeon, though the idea behind it is pretty cool. The only issue is those damn Manhandlas. It's pretty tough to kill those guys with all that water everywhere. After that though, I head on to the next area of the game, which is where things begin to get interesting.

I reach the halfway point of the quest, which is the Portal Keep. This dungeon is fairly short, but the dungeon item is a pretty huge help, especially for the Dark World dungeons. It's also great to know the boss of this place is weak to other stuff besides just the arrows.

How Do I Play Zelda? Part 7

 

I make some rapid progress in this part as I clear two Dark World dungeons in one go. I was honestly expecting them to be one part each, but I guess not Also thank god the ice in this quest doesn't use the ice physics script, or else I would be flipping tables.

I go through the next Dark World dungeon, which is the Tower of the Ancient. This dungeon is actually a better starting point when you enter the Dark World for the first time, since you can get both the Blue Tunic and the White Sword here.

A really shitty bootleg version of DayDay. Not like we needed one of these, but what makes the quest a whole lot funnier is that it's filled with inside jokes between me, Joel and Shane which really adds to the entertainment value. These DayDay quests never cease to amaze me lol, and it just never gets old.

If you thought the first one wasn't enough, here's the sequel to it. It's much shorter and easier, but at the same time it's nowhere as funny as the first quest. It's still got that entertainment value to it though, which is worth a laugh.

I go through the Royal Lair, the final Dark World dungeon I'm going through. I then head back into the Zora's Floodgate and collect the final Heart Container, just before heading into the final dungeon, which is Ganon's Castle.

How Do I Play Zelda? Part 10 (Final Part)

 

And we end off the quest with a pretty cool dungeon along with a pretty cool final boss (even though it's just another Z1 Ganon lol). Overall, this was a very solid quest with loads of cool and unique ideas. For Joel's first attempt at a serious quest, this went very well and I do wish him luck for any more that will be coming our way.

LP 117: Lyrics of Death Part 1

Welcome to my 117th LP as I play Lyrics of Death, a unique sidescrolling quest made by LunarRedMage. This quest takes place after Link has died during the battle between Ganon, and in order to prove he is the true hero, Link must go through the Dungeon of the Fallen (assuming that's the real name) and defeat Death in order to get his life back. Will it be an easy task? Not at all, especially with the horrible jump script in the quest lol (I didn't have much trouble with it during this run for once)

 

In this part, I go through the first sections of the game and collect a couple new spells which will help out for later on. I also sequence break, because why not? So far though, this is pretty good and I'm really enjoying the unique gameplay.

So hey, I probably mentioned this on another page, but I'm hoping to bring back streaming. Now that Geometry Dash is a thing, I'm thinking of doing a little side series called "Geometry Dash Shovelware" where I play through a bunch of random un-rated levels via the "Magic" button on the Search feature. I assume this could go crazy pretty quickly so it could be fun.

 

If that doesn't work out, I can simply just stay with that ZC quest marathon I was doing, seeing how I'm about halfway through "1st Quest Redone". Either way though, I might just do a voting poll or something... totally not copying KenMeister's idea btw B) Seriously though, I'm kinda undecided as to which one I should go for during my next stream. As for a date, however, I'm unsure as to when I'll resume streaming. I was hoping this Saturday, but I might be going out for the day. At this point, it will just have to be whenever I'm free on a Saturday lol

For those unaware of the ZC Own Quest Marathon, it was just a little random thing I decided to do where I play through every quest I've made from the oldest to the most recent. So far, I'm at 1st Quest Redone which is the 4th quest out of 17.

Lyrics of Death? Another good choice, might need to catch up on that. And as for the poll, well, PureZC could use more Geometry Dash in my opinion. And shovelware is a unique kind of entertainment, so why not?
