That room is near the beginning. Just go up from start and make sure you've explored all the paths that are closed until you defeat that mirror robe.

Could it be as simple as that? Really?
Used that earlier with no effect. I guess it's a matter of timing and quantity.

Ok, just finished this great game. Final battle was a bit of a doozy, took me by surprise for a moment. Luckily stuff is cheap, so I can refill on stuff when needed.







I'm hoping this is the complete inventory of items, including all upgrades. Just found that last bastard piece of heart in a rather obvious spot, just forgot to go back to search there.

Are you supposed to do Volcano before 9?

Nice inventory. I'm missing 1 piece of heart, 1 scroll, 2 of the items where ladder and such is, 1 equip item, book and key, and some upgrades, I guess.

Congratulations, pixcalibur...
I'm still working on level 9 boss. I think I know the weapon/s to use, but am unable to withstand the hits and running around. Potions just prolong my agony. Any special technique that you can recommend?

I know I already sent Jamian these images, but a couple things I noted:



Kind of an odd room. Doesn't make a lot of sense to have invisible enemies in this room, and the item to help is right there. Oh, and there are other hazards that MUST take priority. Probably shouldn't have invisible enemies in this particular room.

Small detail. The orb should be moved more to the left so that one can't reach it from the other side with diagonal swing. Makes one of the other orbs rather meaningless with this setup.

For the L9 boss:

Each of them has different weak points. They also have different homing rates, and the ones that home on you more often are of course more dangerous. So identify the weak point per colour and get rid of them one by one, starting with the more annoying ones.

The red one is probably the biggest threat given it homes in on you. I use the feather to try to jump over since the red one will likely cut you off when running around. Once the red one is gone, the battle is pretty easy after that since the other two don't home in as persistently.

I don't think I got hit in that battle, but that's cause I was jumping around like crazy trying to outsmart the red crow

Hmm, didn't realize there were two levels to the wand. I got the one in Treasure Island and thought that was a duplicate of the one I already had. How are the two wands different? If I am missing it, where should I start looking?

Hmm, didn't realize there were two levels to the wand. I got the one in Treasure Island and thought that was a duplicate of the one I already had. How are the two wands different? If I am missing it, where should I start looking?

Only found 2 places with a rod - one you buy and the other at Treasure Island. Is there another place you find an upgrade?

Where are you referring to for that?

You won't get to those green mushrooms for a while. You'll get a sense of when you can remove them. If you haven't passed level 9, then don't bother with them yet.
