I've had that happen to me once, but it works most of the time. When I closed and opened ZQuest, it was working fine again. Not sure why it's happening, but it's such an easy fix (for me, at least), it doesn't seem like too big of a problem.

It happens every time for me. I redownloaded ZC even for a fresh ag.cfg file, but it had the same problem.

So this is a pretty random bug, but it seems that a recent change that made placed FFCs snap to the grid upon creation has some bugs. If an FFC is placed on the second row from the bottom, it will be placed vertically on the second row from the top instead.

As you can see, it's a pretty big annoyance. Combo aliases are virtually unusable.

Eh. Maybe it's something with my computer. I went back as far as alpha 813, and the problem was there. However, it only started happening over the last few months, which is why I assumed it was an RC4 issue. If no one else is having this problem (at least on Windows), then it has to be some sort of conflicting software on my machine, I guess.

Run ZLaunch-w -> Launch ZeldaClassic -> Icon appears in taskbar for about .5 seconds -> disappears

I can't run zelda classic, either through the launcher or by clicking the icon. Is this yet reported? Is there a solution?

So I've found that the hookshot lweapon's deadstate isn't registered as WDS_BOUNCE when it hits a solid combo, only the screen's edge. Seems kinda strange, although I'm not sure if it's a bug. Making scripting a hookshot that shoots fire when it's extending somewhat of a challenge.

The Dancing Dragon, you aren't giving us much info to work with.

First of all, what kind of computer are you using? You have to make sure you download the one made for your kind of computer.

If you did get the right one for your computer, try re-downloading the ZC files and put them in the folder, if that doexn't work I'll try and find another solution if I can.

Could you try another Allegro 4 program (Here's one) and see if the same thing happens there?

If you're running on RC4, do you have a different quest folder? If so, make sure that 1st-4th quests are in it.

Me again, this time with a small question.

I have my quest on multiple computers and for some odd reason, when I boot up ZC and continue my quest file, the cheats are automatically on for one computer. For the other one the cheats have to be activated, but I have to type in the password each time. I don't mind the cheats being on, but I found it strange.

Is this some feature I accidentally activated or a bug of some sort?

This is related to key files. If ZC can find a generated key file, then it enables cheats by default.

Small Bug: With Cheats on, if you press F (which I assume is for Freeze) while Link is charging his Sword, you can't unfreeze him. I've accidentally done it with the one computer that has the cheats on by default.

Other than that, nothing else this time. Boy, does ZC seem to dislike me though.
