There's always sufficient number of tarot cards, I hope Desert Ocean isn't an exception for that, let's see... I see now. Go back out to the south part of the overworld, to the statue. Look at the upper right quarter of the screen. There are some sand formations in a
OXO
XOX
OXO
format, where X is the formation and O is plain sand. Slash is the middle to reveal a tarot card.
Anyway, these bait tarot cards are the Wheel cards of the Big Arcanum, for the Wheel symbolizes the changing of luck, so now it symbolizes the change in ownership (you give it to somebody else).
Swords and hearts don't relate to each other in BB quests, you can pick them up with any heart. Which you mean by "next"? If you still have just the first one, then go back to the restored L2 isle after beating this level and look in a cave. Again, slash at suspicious formations.
The biggest wallet is at a later restored isle, found quite like the 500 wallet, just a bit harder to find.
And I typed all that before realizing that you answered your own questions, that ----- line tricked me... 0_O

What has this quest done to me!? :/
Widened your view, hehe. Next time you make a quest, you will find it natural to make green stones burnable, pots shootable and coloured trees will seem to be completely normal decorations.
...or not. Only BB/SB was like that, CoP is more expectable and BBIV is planned to be even more expectable (there are many other things a quest can get good besides widened sense of secret combos).
