The new trainers and graphics looks awesome!

The new graphics look awesome! I guess it's only the big cities getting the full 3D look. Which is a good thing. The new trainers are great too. And from the right two shots, it looks like Pokemon still follow you, which is an instant win. Can't exactly tell what Pokemon it is though...

I love the new Fire Pig. It looks so playful yet badass The rest are nice as well, but I like the Fire Pig a lot.

The grass starter is just awesome. I think I'll have to take it when this eventually comes out.

Also of note; it seems that that evolved dark-type poke revealed earlier has a transform-type ability; I wonder how that's supposed to work.

I could see that grass lizard thing turning into a ****ing raptor, if you ask me, and the nickname for it should be obvious then . The otter is kind of cute, though, so it's probably going to be a pick between the grass and water type. Not too fond of fire types myself, as Gyarados can easily learn Flamethrower and Fire Blast, or whatever fire moves are out there.

Yes, you are. They're Pokemon! They look just like you'd expect them to look.

They do look like pokemon because they are now officially pokemon. Whether they look like older pokemon or not means little. I don't see why you act so baffled anyway. What do you want? The same old pokemon over and over again? Pokemon will continue to change in this way, and people will either like it or not.

It also saids the protagonists are older this time which comes to tell me that...they are older versions of Red and Leaf.

No way that's Red or Leaf. Well, dunno about Leaf, but that's definitely not Red. I mean, just compare this to that male character. Red looks pretty damn mature and serious, but that guy looks less mature and... well, not serious. And younger. Of course, Japanese-style drawings never make sense anyway, but this is how I feel.

Starters revealed!

We're all idiots for not realizing that the left-to-right pattern in that silhouetted image should've been Grass-, Fire-, and Water- in that order, since that's the order it's always been in since Gen I.

Eh... They're better than they could have been. That water one sucks. The fire one's in the "meh" category (the same category Rattata and Sentret belong to), but I guess I'd wait until I see its evolutions before I pass further judgement; it's just... another pig?! First Swinub, then Spoink, and now they've made one a starter. Just more proof they ran out of ideas.

The grass one's actually pretty neat, though. As long as its evolutions aren't drop-dead ugly, then they've made a winner here.
