Thanks Dethl, figured it out. The bombable wall was off-center, that's what got me there. icon_razz.gif

Thanks for the clue about the Whistle Dethl, which I figured as much on that being needed to get up to that portal up on the landing. I do have a question though for Peteo and Wolfie about the arrow counter in this game. It seems like the Rupee counter was simply used for arrows instead of adding a dedicated arrow counter; likewise the arrows are used as currency. Did you not use seperate arrow and Rupee counters because of concerns about the True Arrows rule and counter being bugged, or for some other reason? I'm thinking that if you were to have used the True Arrows rule and reduced the amount of arrows you can carry early in the game to say, only maybe fifty or a hundred as well as providing both purchaseable arrows in shops and collectable arrows from the spoils of enemies, it would reduce the availability of the bow and make the player more reliant on the sword to dispatch the more powerful enemies earlier in the game, unless there were concerns that the challenge of that might turn off some players. Just curious.....

Both actually, we weren't entirely sure that the arrow function was fully functional in our quest and would limit the use of the bow, which is such a useful item, imo. Nice comments btw Magenta.

After I get done with one about where can I get the power glove? Don't need exact place, just a general area.

The Power Glove? it is in a cave at the Vasshinghon Lava Flows. if you have beaten LV1, the blue uncuttable flower is now out of your way and you can enter the Lava Flows from the correct position so that you can reach the Gauntlet cave....

What am I supposed to do in the "Beware The Floor" room? Are there some "cursed tiles" on the floor that I'm not supposed to step on?

^Yeah. They're obvious enough, but if you step on one yer screwed. Amazing how many people are stuck in Ebenar Temple.

I'm stuck, however, in Bhalstok Castle, a.k.a. Level 3. Found one key (from solving a block puzzle) and can't find another. BTW, Level 3 had the first music that I actually recognized from another Quest. Meh. icon_rolleyes.gif

What's up with the dream? I go 1 screen west from the start & 1 north, and then going east sends me out & going north does nothing. Or am I just supposed to stand there for a really long time?

zmaster: Well, from that first locked door (that you have probably unlocked), go south and if you haven't yet, there the blocks on the right should have receeded. Go right, bomb the south wall. solve the timing challenge and go right again. Lower the blocks and bomb the right wall, step on through. Next up is a 2x2 maze of rooms, be careful here! Its dangerous! Your ultimate goal is to head north in the upper left of the 2x2 room. From there, its relatively easy to find your second key, just don't fall into any pits just yet.

About the dream, if you come to the sad Panda, do what he asks you to do... icon_wink.gif

Solarrain: Just look closely at the floor tiles. You should notice the tiles that tirgger the trap if you look carefully enough.

More castle trouble. Why won't the doors open when I use the Ocarina on the note tile?

I explored everything (I think) that I can with the raft without beating Level 1, even got a glimpse on Kali Beach (Lots of crazy fighting for a dead end!) and then went back to beat Level 1. I have 6 HCs now in total. The boss was... strange... Knowing that Peteo makes the dungeons, I expected some gigantic boss that I would find no way to beat at first... Like the second custom boss in MMDWRDC... When the door opened I thought "AHHA! There will be the real boss!" and then I was like "Uhm... A heart container...? icon_blink.gif"

I can't put enough emphasis on the fact that the overwolrd is really DFWish while the interiors are very Peteoish... The cave system is like the sewer system in MMDWRDC... And it's samely full of rats!

I'm already waiting Lost Isle 2. [/half joke]

zmaster: The doors open only when you have learned the Royal Melody. You can learn it from the 2nd floor....

Castchaos: Yeah, the custom bosses are waiting for you at the later parts of the quest. And they're not as crazy as MMDWR bosses, but they are 2 x times cooler I tell ya. icon_wink.gif

NineLives: Indeed it is at the Lava Flows.

Deathbringer: The king of Bhalstok is the answer to the puzzle.... got it? icon_wink.gif

Woot I got the braclet.

So, where are the locations of some Heart Pieces? I don't wanna go into level 2 with only 4 hearts.
