No. TS: You MUST find yourself a copy of the default Wiimote Brawl controls, and a Wiimote, and practice, even if it is in your head. If you go in there with no instinctual idea of what buttons do what, you're fried. It is so difficult to play on so simple a device, however unfamiliar.

You could help him out by providing a list of what does what, since you can actually play it.

Already taken care of. I printed out the full instructions of how to do what. I think the only problems I'll have is with jumping.

Actually, it would help if I had an actual Wiimote to practice button-locations. I used a Snickers bar.

Today's update was certainly interesting enough. It was an amusing gallery of screenshots that people who already have the game have taken. Each one is filled with great amounts of quality.

Also, I went into my GameStop and asked the guy about tomorrow night. He mentioned that if you have prepaid, you'd better have your receipt down, or you get nothing. Because, you have to arrive at 10:00 to present your receipt, and then you get a final receipt. THAT, is what you have to show him at 12:00 when you can actually get the game.

Also, at 10:00, begins the tournament. It's a Brawl tournament, unfortunately, not a Melee tournament. (... ... I'm honestly tempted to say duh to myself at this point...)

So yeah. Laminate your receipt, and find a way to laminate the second one he gives you. Good god, ... so nervous. >.< I mean, what if you have to go to the bathroom in the line? I'm bringing along my sister to help hold my place in the line, and keeping a few spare bottles in the car. Ugh. x x. Necessity, eh.

Wow. The employee at the GameStop I reserved it at said nothing of the receipt, but I'll bring mine along anyway. But, ****. A line.

God. I bet I'll be standing there from 9:30 until like... 3 in the morning or something, when I get home with the actual game. Makes me wonder why I just don't pick it up the next day.

I do have my reason, unfortunately. For one, the tournament. I won't be able to play Brawl against others (In person, at least.) for a good long while, because my sister is ... 'eh' .. about it, and nobody would bring in a Wii to the Anime Club, really; huge risk. And, I have work the next day, all day, during GameStop's hours of operation. Plus, it seems that since you have to get yourself a final receipt anyway, ... ... you have to visit beforehand anyway.

Just got back from the tournament (rescheduled to today cuz of the snow).

Played as Dark Link, and instead of just Wii Remote, had the Wii remote and Nunchuk. It wasn't bad. I was the very first person in the tournament setup. My two friends who were also there lost their first rounds and were out. I made it all the way to the final, and lost by one kill to Pit. >:O

Either way, it was still awesome to play that game.

I got the game. (The scariest part is that I didn't predorder it) It looks freakin awesome! I just unlocked 5 secret characters and the Subspace thingy looks really cool.

The only flaw so far is that Lyn's VA sounds like an old lady.

Falcon's Raptor boost sounds like a malfunctioning zipper. Also, 75% completed in SSE, in your face.

I got to play five rounds of it and wow... those pants still aren't dry.

The controller I had sucked, but it seemed exactly like Supersmashbros meele, though a tad bit slower, just twice as insane, and twice as fun.

If you haven't already, play as Omar, or on the Pikmin level. Jumping into that things mouth to figure out what would happen resulted in one the funniest thing I'd seen all day. And that's saying a lot. I saw a radioactive cat.

Walked into walmart at like 11:30 this morning and they still had like 40 copies sitting there so I bought one. Finished about 40% of the story mode and played for like 5 hours today. I am extremely impressed with this game, it will provide with hundreds of hours of entertainment.
