Nice videos, I can see that u are taking your time and not rushing through the game. That's probably why I die so many times and I also don't use continue when I am low on health. The fastest time I got was about 11 to 12 hrs. with almost all of the secrets.

hello. before i begin, i must say this: Peteo and DFW, this quest is the best quest ever!
now for my question. what is the path for that maze in Xaagan Wastelands? i have tried every combination i can think of. what is the path? can you at least give me a hint?

Explore the wastelands, and you'll find four signs in different spots. These signs will indicate what direction you're supposed to go. Pay close attention to the positions of the signs- their locations indicate the order you should go.

Really? I never knew I put them near the sides of the screen in the order you should go through the maze. Unintentional, but cool, design element on my part. LOL

okay, now i am in level 4. i have opened gate 1, found a door leading to a HCP outside, the map, the compass, and the power control switch. how do i reach the wand chip?

EDIT1: i have now opened gate 2, found a key on a balcony and entered the lab. i can not find the key-card. how do i reach it?

Finally got around to playing this game, and I'm impressed DFW. You've done a good job...and I just started. XD
Now, the only issue is finding the level 1 sword after the shipwreck...any pointers?

From where you start, go straight right until you find a cave. (Do not leave the beach.) Make your way through it until you find the sword.

...but there's bushes...or is there a way to cut them down without the sword?

Just go two screens to the right (east), and you'll find the cave.

the crab at the start takes your sword off to the right. (or did you miss seeing the crab?) That was your big hint.

No, I meant that there were bushes inside the cave, but then I found the way around them...

Hey everyone,
I've been playing Lost Isle for about a month off and on. I had just gotten the death sword and I was on my way to Level 4 when my computer crashed, losing a fair amount of progress. I had not gotten the Giant's Glove yet. Does anyone happen to have a save file at that approximate point that I can swipe from them? Pretty please. =)

Ok, so I redid the catacombs after losing my progress, and now I'm in the middle of Level4. I've opened gate1, gotten the map, compass, and 2 keys. Now I'm stuck. Can someone give me a nudge in the right direction? Maybe gate2, but I can't find the switch...
