Although, there is one thing I don't get. When Rarity asked Twilight and the gang what they were doing at Canterlot, Twilight said "When I got your letter". Now, I might be remembering this wrong because of the ad break, but didn't Rarity write that letter, like, 5 seconds ago? How the hell did they get there so fast?

No, there's a lightly implied time lapse after she sends the letter, in which we are to assume that Rarity is preparing for the garden party.

Anyway...it's amazing to me that except for Lesson Zero, Rarity has gotten all of my favorite episodes this season thus far.

I also love how we get a bit of a deeper glimpse into Twilight's personality. Never would have thought she'd be one for 50s style rock n' roll. I had this weird idea in my head that she'd listen to R&B.

Yeah, I'm kinda surprised they didn't really do anything with that, I thought it would be one of the episode's plot points. Seriously, that made me think the friendship lesson would be about lying. Of course, her reason for staying in Canterlot didn't really help.

Well, I can't remember all the actual friendship lessons that well, but I don't think so. The closest thing to an episode about lying I can think of is Party Of One, but the lesson in that was that you should be optimistic, not that you shouldn't lie.

Yeah, but this episode wasn't just about lying. It was also about neglecting the people (or ponies) that shape who YOU are. And the lying element was rather different from Owl's Well that Ends Well. In this episode, the point was lying about who you are in order to be accepted.

Anyway, Twilight in the latest episode inspired me to look up Elaine's dance from Seinfeld. Guess about what the latest comments on its video are about.

Well...it was Ventus who kind of encouraged the spamminess, and he's gone now, so...HEY TS, CAN WE GO BACK TO GENERAL ENTERTAINMENT PLOX? K THNX!

No, but seriously, except for the occasional joke-post (once per page at most) it seems like the posts since Ventus left have all had a notable amount of thought put into them. I don't think it would be unreasonable for this thread to go back into General Entertainment.

This is definitely a show to watch when my nieces are around.

EDIT: Well I watched another episode for the sake of closure. Since there's no cliffhanger to bother me, I don't have as much a compulsion to watch more episodes. Don't count on me becoming a Brony. I watched the show, and it's enough. I'll watch it while babysitting girls, and that's fine.

That was on page 83.
My response to the first 2 episodes was uncannily similar to that of my friend whom I got to watch the first (and second) episodes. He'll give in eventually, just like I did.
He even admits that it's one of the few good cartoons left.

Yes, I'm the evil culprit who moved the thread. (OR AM I? I'M SO INVISIBLE YOU WON'T KNOW) But regardless, it was moved because your 2nd point back up there was already occuring- it's fine to have a thread on the main subject at hand, but this thread fluctuates with relevancy and discord so much that it's simply better here. Now that everything is cleared up and it doesn't matter who moved it.

There's definitely enough brony staff/mods for this to be reasonable.
