it may be awhile before I get that far. I'm just now in Level 1. (I hate THOSE hands too btw) Still enjoying it. I'm not sure if it seems harder than some of the old zelda games because it is, or because i have all those memorized:)

I think Lost isle is easier than those old Zelda games. At first lost sisle seemed hard but then I started hunting for upgrades and equipment and then this game wasn't tough anymore.


Hey I finally finished this game!
My time was about 25 hours and I died over 100 times.

This is probably one of the best 2d zeldas I have ever played in my life.

OH NO! i'm getting a weird error. It says the save file can not be opened. Am I doomed to start over ? Granted i didn't get past the first dungeon yet so i wouldn't be loosing to much but it's very annoying.

The error asks me if it's okay to clear the data? I keep hitting canceling and hoping upon checking later the sav file will magically work (I know wishful thinking right?)

I've been playing this for a while now, and have made it to level 3! Took me a year on and off to get there .
I've noticed that there are music tiles and doors in the castle, but when I use the ocarina the doors do not open (any reason why?). And that word block puzzle is just cruel (any info to help with this is greatly appreciated). Got the second sword, never have found the 'rang yet though.

Those whistle tiles must be opened by a melody you will learn in level 3, so keep looking. That word block puzzle has a clue to its solution in the throne room. And find that boomerang first before going any further! Go look on Horgrus Mountain.

I started a new game and now I haven't died more than once and I'm already at level 3 lol.

Sir Bogomoloff: Amazing feat u didn't die once on level 2. That's pretty good I always die at least 10 to 30 times on it bc of the enemy placement.

That's nothing, Wolfie can easily zero-game Lost Isle. .. But still, nice job Sir Bogomoloff!

I still can zero game this quest. Its so easy actually. But great job nonetheless, it can be done. Don't give up.

Now that i know where everything is and what to expect, this quest became surprisingly easy. But I do still enjoy it. Great work Darkflamewolf!

Yeah, I got about 73 deaths the second time I played it, Which isn't bad I guess, but I could do better. I never really used the continue method that much when I had low health. I kind of just died every time and didn't care. I'm still amazed about this game in general, I mean in May I might pick it up again and play it because it is that good.

you know what? When I play through Lost Isle to the very end and I see Morlach rising from the lava, I have to check myself and say: "Holy Crap, this is still a Zelda game!" Its awesome that Peteo and I have made a new villian and a new mythos for the Zelda universe almost to the point that it feels official. At least in my mind.
