Well, yeah. I mean, it IS a Dexter crossover after all.

Ah, I see, I didn't know that. Of course, I never watched Dexter, so I never would've been able to guess that it was a crossover.

Also, official story? Wha? I'm confused now. Have you already written it and are now re-writing it? Or is it like a fanfic of a fanfic? I'm not really sure what's going on here.

EDIT:All this talk of fanfics has reminded me I should probably get back to work on planning my own.

I'm calling it official because it just got accepted on FiMFiction.net (which, by the way, is where you should probably write YOUR fanfic), meaning I can link you to an actual story page rather than just to the chapter itself.

Right, yeah, I get it now, I was just being a bit stupid, that's all. Also, I took a look at FiMFiction.net, how exactly does that work? Do you write it on the website, then when it's finished you make it publicly readable?

Yeah, basically. You can also publish individual chapters and send people the link for critique/proofreading before you get the story accepted.

And also, there's all sorts of little features you can use on your stories, not to mention the system Knighty set up for tracking stories. Like, if you do a lot of reading, you can click the "track" checkbox on a story page and get email updates on that story. And then there'll be a page that shows all of your unread chapters (yeah, it keeps track of read/unread per user) among your tracked fics. And also, you can fav, rate, and comment.

Wow. That all sounds really useful. I'll have to remember to use that site when actually writing my fanfic. But right now, I'm still in the planning stages, and I have a feeling I will be for a while. Not too long, though, probably a couple of weeks. But the more I think about it, the more I realize my esitmate of "I'll start writing it before the end of the year" might turn out to be wrong.

Wow this thread moves fast. I've missed, like 20% of the pages now.

Anyways, about a week ago, I admitted my bronydom in front of about 50 high school guys. And not a single person judged me. F*** yeah.

It helps that a few of my friends in the audience cheered, but still. Ponies.

I probably won't admit it unless the subject comes up directly. I'm not exactly comfortable with ponies in public.

A friend of mine admits that it's one of the few good cartoons left, but he won't watch more because it "needs more robots" So I showed him my avatar, but he didn't get the reference since he doesn't like anime.

He'll get past that soon enough.

Still, he watched the second episode all on his own. I didn't need that much to get him to watch the first episode, which surprised me. Admittedly, I was a troll about it afterwards.
