Yeah, I was expecting something a lot better. The last round of kids who took this challenge won a trip to Paris :/
But oh well, it was a great learning experience for me and I honestly don't really mind the calculator prize. It could come in handy, and hey it's solar powered lol

Well since other people are posting grades and such, I might as well post mine.
My school is a private school with only 200 students, so it kind of sucks. There are barely any classes to take besides regular classes, and even then they almost force you to take it in a certain order. I wanted to take A.P. Chem, Honor's Pre-Cal, and A.P. History this year, but they wouldn't let me, so I'm stuck with no History and regular-crap Biology. But worst of all, the school has a strict rule about Math, and since they don't allow Sophomores to take Pre-Cal, I'm stuck with take a more advanced version of Algebra 2, called Algebra 2+. It's practically the same thing, so I'm kind of angry at the school right now. Oh and they make you take 4 years of P.E.
But anyways:
Yes, I am taking Spanish 1 & 2 at the same time. Apparently even if you pass the Spanish 1 Exam over Summer, they want you to take the class anyways.
Oh, and I guess PSAT Results too, 'cause why not.
As you can see, Math is my strong point, English not so much. But I am still proud of it.
And on a note related to school, I decided to take my hand at Japanese. So far not bad, but I haven't gotten to Kanji yet. So far, I'm enjoying it!

Well, all I remember about my grades are my final grades for high school and college. Weird my high school didn't use the 4.0 system, but anyway, I ranked 46 or 47 out of 486 students with a 95.036%. As for college, I graduated Cum Laude with just a hair above a 3.50 GPA. Pretty good, but there are certainly higher overall grades out there, especially given how many super smart teens we have on this board. My grades look like a B- or C+ average in comparison

I feel like crap by the way.
I'm frustrated because I'm not improving in the things I want to improve upon, I just do stupid things over and over again, I feel like I'll never be exceptional

I guess now that we're on the topic of school, it's probably relevant to say that my final school exams are approaching in roughly 2 months, which are the GCSE exams. I got my timetable for the exams a while back, and I'm pretty happy with it, mostly because they've all been spreaded out from May to June and not crammed to a span of a week. If I were to be honest, I'm not really stressed with the exams at all. I guess it's probably because I'm very confident I'll do great, but I've been told never to be too overconfident. Either way, I'm looking forward to getting school over and done with.
In other news, I seem to be slowly improving on English Language and Literature, which I'm pretty happy about; my English teacher finished marking our controlled assessments (essay writing) the other day and all my essays were either Band 4 or 5 (Band 4 being B/A, Band 5 being A/A*), so in total, I'm somewhere around an A. I'm pretty happy with this since English has always been my weakest subject, so I'm now pretty confident going into those English exams sometime in early June.

I truly despise math. I'm taking Pre-Calculus in college, and the last problem in the assignment I had to do today was difficult enough that it took both me and the Chinese exchange student staying with us multiple hours and countless attempts to figure out the answer. I'd ask the teacher, but I was stupid enough to sign up for the online class. At least class is over in a few more days and I can move on to some simpler classes for next quarter. (Astronomy and Web Design. I need one more Science class, two electives, and possibly one more math before I get my AA Degree.)

Finally finished a 20,000 word story. This was for my final English assignment, which means I completed Grade 11 English. I need to do one more Math assignment and then I wait for the results to see if I pass Grade 11 or not, but my Theory teacher says I shouldn't even bother worrying. Now I focus on my Grade 12 projects for the rest of the year.
Sadly I can't share the story, which is a shame. I might rewrite it ground up because I really did love the concept of what I wrote. It was a creepy story, with some blood and light swearing, but I refuse to give out the premise. I'll probably post the rewriting in the Official Writing Thread. Buuuut considering it took me a week (because other classes and other things) to make such a story in the first place, don't expect it any time soon, lol.
That said, physical education and art are going great too.
(I might drop using "Grade X" since "Grade" is actually "Year" here. Just letting you know in advance or something.)

I wish I could do this >_> It turns out that I'm only able to take Astronomy as a subject at University level, since there are no colleges around me that do Astronomy and my school doesn't offer it either at GCSE level, which is sad because other schools have it but not mine.

Well, Quarter 3 of my high school (which has 5,000 students, by the way), is over. Here are my final grades:

As you can see, I managed to increase most of my grades since 3 weeks ago, but unfortunately, I was not able to increase my AP U.S. History grade at all and instead it went down. For me, it's my hardest class, part of which is due to the recent change in curriculum that the College Board enacted. In any case, I'm pretty proud of my grades because it makes me have a GPA of exactly 4.625 which is actually in the top 3% of my school of 5,000 students. ![]()
I hope everyone else did well with their grades this quarter (and if your grades were not finalized this quarter, then I hope the rest of the semester goes well)!
