For those who think that the downlandable content is not going to happen, consider reading this.

A couple hours ago, it was reported, and this is just a rumor, that Mewtwo and Roy will be in the American and PAL versions of Brawl, and will be downloadable in Japan. It was reported by someone who apparently, has been reporting information on the Advance Wars series and has always been accurate, even before the company even says so.

Well, Advance Wars is made by Intelligent Systems, which makes Fire Emblem, which is where Roy originates from. So, it is not out of the question that Roy would appear.

I can already hear some people say "But BL, Da creator said theres no downloadable content, lol." Well, lets look at that quote one more time...

No. There are no characters that can be unlocked via connecting to WiiConnect24 or interacting in that fashion. And I may be mistaken here, but the Wii doesn't have a hard drive -- it's a disc-based system -- so I don't think we'll be doing that, I don't think it's going to happen.

What do I think? I think this is just another stupid rumor, spawned by people who are still butt-hurt about there being no more than 35 characters.

It's a rip of all the alternate colors for each char. So yeah, all of them in there.

Yeah, I fully expect the store to be incredibly crowded on March 9th. Those poor, poor store clerks. It's like Christmas shopping for them all over again.

I already prebought my copy sometime last year, and it's all paid off already.

How does that work, anyway? If I have it prebought and prepaid, can they sell that copy to someone who gets there first, cash in hand, who had also preordered one? Also, do they keep the amount you've paid off for it in their database? I don't want to have lost my receipt and have to pay another $52.50 something for another copy after I've already paid it off.

Well, Ebgames will call me at home when they receive it, and they keep it for me.

Yeah, Gamestop and EB-Games hold your reserved games for 2 days before they distribute them to the public. I don't think they make you pay for the game again, should you get the game after the allotted two days.

I have to agree. I wish there were more players, but when you think about it, 35 characters is ALOT compared to some games I've enjoyed. How many did Melee have? 26 or something? Melee was (and is) still alot of fun!

If you ask me, 35 players is almost more than enough. Plus, it looks like most of the "clone" characters have been eliminated, so it looks like probably 15 or so more characters in Brawl than in Melee!

Well, I only paid 5 $ of the game for reserving it. So I'll have to pay like 55 $ when I go get the game.

IMO 35 characters is enough for me. Also, more characters means more levels in the adventure mode to fit them in the story.

I only paid 5$ too. Hopefully I have enough to buy the game when it comes out... Except I'll only pay, like, 47$ for it. All first party Nintendo games are supposed to be under 50$, not including tax.

Also, I saw that there are about 35 levels in the Subspace Em.! I don't know about you, but that's enough for me.

Dude, Link is so cool. Have you played Twilight Princess aka THE COOLEST GAME EVER?!? His voice may take some getting used to, but he is way cooler than OoT Link and Ike and Medaknight and everybody else.

BUT, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. And who doesn't like Dark Link?


And I have to agree that I am glad that Crazy and Master Hand is back in the game!

Btw, only 12 days and about 3 1/2 hours till SSBB comes out on the East Coast of US! (relative to the time of my edit)
I personally can NOT wait for this game!

Also, who's competing in the SSBB tournament Gamestop is having on the night of the release? I might... who knows? Maybe I'll win.
