Quests like: isle of the winds, hidden duality, tortuga, all of Mr.Z's quests, all of Freedom's quests, and lost isle is what makes Zelda Classic 1.92 and 2.10 great and one of the most stable version ever. Quests like these is why i still enjoy ZC 2.10.

Christan: Don't forget about Hero of Dreams and Ballad of Bloodline as well, they are also some of my favorite games. icon_wink.gif

I just beat lv.3, is it just me or are my flying through this game. I remembered everything from the first time I played through fully so I guess you could say I'm enjoying this game greatly!! icon_smile.gif

yes, subsequent playthrough do get a bit easier, so flying through isn't unheard of.

Baaaahhh!!! I'm finally stuck and of course it is in lv.4. I got the two keys and Boss key and I don't know how to get to the right exit to the level that leads to the labs.

Nevermind, figure out where it was just had to keep searching that's all.

Yaaayy!!! icon_cool.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_cool.gif I beat the game again in four days. This time I did a lot better. I'm only missing two heart pieces so maybe I'll use the map that you guys gave me earlier.

Here's a screenshot of my stats in Lost Isle: http://s335.photobuc...forLostIsle.jpg

Thanks for giving me for something to do. When I played this quest I also got a couple ideas for my quest so I'll get to it soon indeed! icon_smile.gif

Nice stats, it is so much easier the 2nd time through, isn't it? icon_smile.gif

Heh, and I remeber there were people who couldn't even get past the first level... icon_rolleyes.gif

jman and Nathaniel: since when it has become disallowed to express your own feelings on a message board? Not everyone reads the topics where I have been hard on ZC, so I posted here too the reasons why I am not working on ZC anymore. After promising 2 or 3 years ago that ZC 2.5 release was just around a corner and there still isn't even a sign of ZC 2.5, how can you come here and tell me to "drop it". Uhh you guys....! icon_neutral.gif

Well, the fourth level still was hard even though I played it once before. Other than that I did have much trouble figuring out where to go. I also have a couple potions laying around in the overworld. I did that windmill side quest this time and I will do the master dome after getting the remaining heart pieces. Other than that, I don't think I'm missing any other secrets are my icon_question.gif

I didn't say that you couldn't. I was merely making a suggestion. There is a difference between the two. I was out of my enforcement role and in my wise man (not wise guy) role, if that helps you out.

We are completely out of control over the 2.5 matter, so there isn't exactly anything we can do to help you feel better about it (not that you are necessarily trying to feel better about it). I am saying that by continuously complaining about it over and over again with nothing really new to add about it, you are simply beating a dead horse and therefore accomplishing nothing by doing so. It's Deja Vu, pretty much.

Just as you have the right to express your opinion, I have the right to express my displeasure at your opinion. You are free to continue saying what you like, and if you do, I'll continue to show my displeasure at it. This has nothing to do me trying to censor your opinions or justify dumb and stupid mistakes I made years ago, I'm just personally sick and tired of hearing it.

so hey, what you all think of Morlach!
/end lame attempt to get back to topic
Also has anyone bothered to try using the fish bait for anything other than the windmill? Petoe and I went into the enemy editor and with the exception of drones and robotic enemies, almost every type of enemy has some affinity to the fish. Namely, the shield stealing Grasps LOVE fish and will congregate around it making for an easier kill. Just food for thought, ha ha!

If I had to guess, I'd say over half of the people who have gone thru LI have never used the bait fish to their advantage... icon_wink.gif ...even though we have said many times in this thread and it even reads in the readme file that the fish has some use.

BAH!! Should have used it when I had the chance. I couldn't even keep my lv. 2 shield for more than two minutes. icon_cry.gif That's why I just waited until I got the shield of ages and then I was set. icon_smile.gif

Haha! That happens to so many people, they get the Lv2 shield, and after a few mintues with it they lose it to a grasp! icon_biggrin.gif

Sorry, it's evil to laugh.

Yes, it's quite funny that enemies are attracted by bait. I actually remove this in questmaking, but if Lost Isle has it, it could be very useful. Nice tip.

yes, I believe the max value of 'bait lure' for any enemy is 4. 0 equaling no interest whatsoever in the bait and 4 meaning, as soon as you put it out, it makes a beeline for it and stays there. Grasps are either a 3 or 4 I believe. Most other monsters fall within 2-3 values with a few 1s and the robotic monsters are 0s in Lost Isle.
