Well, if I haven't told you guys, I hate shoe shopping. Why? It's not that my feet are big, but they're wide. Thus, finding a shoe wide enough without being 2-3 sizes too big is a nightmare. However, yesterday, I went to Famous Footwear and bought a pair a bit out of my price range ($34.99) for a pair of these:

I like them a lot. They're in the upper limit of my shoe range, but it's just a number. They're a lot sexier than my old pair, if I do say so myself

I pretty much hate any shopping. I do need new shoes though... The irony.

Also I wouldn't mind getting back to making another quest sometime. I guess I'll just see what life throws at me and get to going on it.
In regards to shopping for shoes, I agree. I need a new pair here shortly for running, but I'm pretty picky/indecisive on which ones I want. $100 is always painful to part with on shoes, but when they last 2-3 years, most times, I guess it is alright.

It did switch domain names, though... I'm guessing jerome maybe was trying to go to the .com and didn't find out we were on .net until later. Which makes me wonder if there are a lot of other people who haven't found out we've moved to .net yet...Came back? It never went away...

I hate going over $30.00 myself. Since getting my first real job, shoes only get me through about 4-5 months before falling apart. In high school, I went a year per pair. Guess when you're an adult and actually working, they don't last as long. Of course, since I have said job, I should not fret as much about cost.
EDIT: This was my first message I typed from my tablet without the assistance of my bluetooth keyboard.

Well, we're getting close to the finish line in the new house!
Yesterday the cable guy from Cable America set us up with TV and internet access, and he even taught me how to set up a new network (which was important because this will be the first time I'm going to have to do this myself).
One thing to note however (not that anyone will care), is that starting this afternoon, I will not be able to use the computer for quite a while. This is because my dad and I will have to remove the monitor that has been screwed onto a Ergotron Neo-Flex LCD Arm, and disconnect our computers, which will be moved to the new house.
Tomorrow, the movers will come by to pick up the heavy furniture and take them there as well.
See ya later, and wish me luck.

One of my dogs, Sebastian, had to be hospitalized today. He hasn't been eating very well lately, and this morning, when my mom went to let them out of the garage to feed them, he literally dragged himself out by his front paws. So that's sort of been lingering over me all day and I've just been trying to keep myself distracted... Anyway, we finally got confirmation a little while ago that he has intestinal problems, so we're hoping he can get better from that. In the meantime, have a picture of my dogs from when they were 6 weeks old, on the first night they came home and got tuckered out from exploring the living room:

Sorry to hear about your dog. I hope it all works out and he ends up feeling much better after this. ![]()
That's a pretty adorable couple of puppies there ...
As for myself, I've been giving ZC a break and trying to focus on my writing for a bit. When I get involved in ZC projects, I tend to be so passionate that I don't want to do anything else. But writing's important to me so I'm making an effort to give it some more attention lately.

I've been really busy with
Les Miserables! Very excited to be in it
Academic Team. I'm one of the three best players so my participation is important
Science club! I founded it three weeks ago. So far we've taken apart a laser printer and are planning to use the laser for devious purposes. We might also use a microwave to figure out the speed of light
Smash Bros. I'm still trying to become the best in my city. I'm currently fourth.
So busy life when you add AP classes and stuff. I really need to go to bed. I hope everyone is doing well!

P.S- Should I keep the hat?!?!?!

So around Wednesday, I went to a school meeting because I failed grade 11 miserably and I almost dropped out of school completely, leaving me absolutely depressed on a whole new level because my family kept calling me a disappoint me and the like. I wish I didn't have a bag full of social problems and maybe then school would be less of a problem for me. Either way, I was determined to go back to school, after months of regret and stress that I had no future left.
I was offered a new alternative learning program they will start this year. It's basically where you don't go to mainstream classes. In fact, it's not a part of the school building at all. It's a little further, but I don't care. I basically stick in one class (I get to pick the subjects/topics I want to do), work from 9am-2:30pm at my own pace, and as long as I complete all my work before the end of the year, they have no complaints. There will be around 70 people joining this program. But I don't mind. It's when I'm trapped with hundreds and hundreds of people that I start to feel uncomfortable and judged more. The best part is, they offer work experience, which is something I could use. They also can help you get your driver's license, and for free too, which is neat. It's too bad I already got mine. Also excursions every Friday.
I mean, I didn't expect this. And I would be nuts not to accept this offer, especially since I get another extra week of holidays as they prepare the class. But holy crap, I have never been this excited for school in a long time!

Damn Shane, that's some really awesome news! If only I had that luxury to have a school like that. Either way, best of luck for going back to school.
