Anyway, I have my guess:
Big Sheild
Mirror Sheild
Wand (or is the Megabuster the Wand's counterpart)
Super Bomb
Hammer

The Megabuster is the Magic Rod.
You get Superbombs later in the game (say, after Level 6).
You can also get the "Hammer" after Level 6, but you need the Grapple Beam to get to it (not gonna tell you where).

Now, I feel like I did something wrong. I made it to the snowy mountains, and I guess I was supposed to get a keycard somewhere in the general vicinity to enter the shack with the Golden Armor. Instead, I used my extra keycard to get in the shack (the one I got at the Skull Man statue early on), and now I can't seem to figure out what to do next. Was getting the "real" keycard supposed to trigger an event, or something of the like? If so, this means that I'll have to start from scratch yet again (which I don't mind, really).
So, for the sake of avoiding the same mistake, where is the keycard I'm supposed to use on the shack?

You did get in with a regular keycard? You're supposed to get a crowbar from the thieve's hideout to get into that garage in north.
But if you only lost an extra key then I see no reason why you should start from scratch.
I wonder if petoe will ever release this tileset. I am startting to get excited about ZC and I'd like to use some MMDWR tiles. :\

I found a thief of some sort in the North area, and I also found an abandoned garage where I found the armor... and a HCP. I don't believe I used one of my extra keys to get in though, and I certainly didn't use a crowbar. I've never even been to this place near Lapin Town that people are talking about, because I don't have super bombs. The last thing I did was beat tornis tower, then I surfed around and found the Ice Cavern and Northen Area.
On another note, what else is in this place? I see a large Zen on a cliff but can't reach it, and there seems to be some places I can't access. (such as the left side of the screen south of the garage)
I'm assuming I have to go to this factory place I found in the NW part of the overworld next, so I'll do that once I figure out what the deal is with this garage/hideout thing.

As for the zens, dunno.. never bothered with 'em.
The factory is the next level.

Make sure you have the L3 Lightsaber when you go in there.

Anyway, in the northern area I was able to find the lab and learned to slash, and then I found the theives hideout. I don't recall finding anything there. I also reached the Zens. To the left of the entrance to the North, there is a slightly off-color ground tile you can burn to get up there.
With the golden armor, I was also able to beat the Mega Zone challenge thing and get the Fire boomerang (what is it supposed to be, anyway? I played the first 7 Megaman games, and it just looks like a banana to me), which was very useful in the Factory. I got to the part where I was supposed to turn off the power, and disaster struck.
First of all, in the room with the sign pointing left and the computer screen you can get info from, there is a locked door. I had 2 keys, but they were the spare ones I didn't want to use. I explored the level a bit longer and still found nothing, so I gave in and used one. I then shut off the power and explored some more, and reached Wind Man. In the room before him, there was an energy tank, but I already had two so I left it. I killed Wind Man (but used an E-Tank) and then went back to get the one I left behind. When I return, ****ing Wind Man is back and he kills me. At this point I just got pissed off and quit.
Any ideas on where the key I missed could have been? I got both of the ones from the two rooms with converyor belts, opening hatches, and Wizzrobe-robots, so it's not either one of those. I also only found one HCP. Should I have found more?

What you should've done was got the Rush Marine first.
At least WindMan is easier in the DC. In the original the lasers didn't "warm up" and you didn't know which ones would fire.

Do you Jish got Rush Marine? If you don't know where to go next go outside of the factory and dive in front of the building with the text 'B1' and you should get to the underwater parts of the factory. Lower the water level and after that you can blow up things there to find more keycards..

The Boomerang should be the Shadow Blade, a subweapon used by Shadowman, hmmm, the Fire Boomerang however, reminds me of the Quick Boomerang, a subweapon used by Quickman, going by your description. I also played that one Megaman Arcade game, always figured out what's what.
