QUOTE(cool mike @ Jul 26 2004, 07:18 PM)
what are the items in lv3 and what do i do and wheredo i go after i get the glove from lv3? icon_rolleyes.gif

After you get the glove: look for a room with a cracked block and a block with an arrow on it. The block with an arrow on it is slightly dark, meaning you need the glove you got. Bomb the cracked block and push the block with the arrow to open a door up north. You get a key in this room.

Now go to a room with 6 doors and 4 darknuts (it's like 3 screens north of the middle entrance to the level). Go through the top door on the eastern side. Unlock the door you see to the north and head that way. Go east (you might have to bomb the wall, can't remember that) to find some more heavy blocks and some stairs. In these stairs you find the Wand.

The Wand activates the crystals you see around the level.

Y'know the little octagonal gray and white tiles that look like a cross between a skull and a smiley face? How do you move/get rid of those?

OK, I'm in Level 8 and I got there with 7 keys. Now I'm out of keys and can't do anything without one. On the level map I see a key behind a key door. There's another key that I need the book to get (I think) but the book is behind another key door. Oh, I have the level 2 glove. Please tell me I don't have to start the game over...

If you really are stuck, go get one key from the Master Dome.

Just make ABSOLUTELY sure you beat the level with 1 key left over, and the sequence after Level 8 with 1 key left over, or you will not be able to complete the Master Dome.

yes, regardless of how well I planned things out, there is still a chance someone can still phuck up the keys in this game, which is why I made the Master Dome available after getting the flippers. So you can use it as a spare repository for keys. However, in the end, using this resource, it will eventually be the Master Dome that eventually gets screwed and can't be beaten once you've phucked up with the keys. I'm still trying to figure out a way how people can actually phuck up like this so I can fix it when I update it.

The post Level 8 scene is how people get screwed. They miss a key and can't go back to get it.

okay, I'm fine with it if its simply the master dome being screwed. But if it was a required dungeon that you must beat to complete the game, then I'd have a problem with it.

Just do away with the idea of getting keys as it's a waste of time trying to search for extra keys. It's the same thing with wasting time to go to the bomb shops, as well as going to kill leevers in Desert Island, just to get enough magic to clear Lvl 2 & 3's magic requirements. Why not just hide more super bombs since every Hero Statue, Skulls & Large Rocks you need to super bomb them?

Anyone who misses an extra key from Lvl 1 to 7 will be screwed in Lvl 8 & the only solution is to conveniently go to the Master Dome to get those keys. Well since the Master Dome is not required to finish the game, so isn't it a waste of time trying to go hunt for the extra keys when they can be found in the mini dungeons in the Master Dome?

well, you presented all those options Ielen. Surely you're bound to find one you like.
- Buy super bombs from shops
-- Using money you get from enemies
-- Using money you get from bushes, and circle stones as well as underwater.
- Getting more magic power
-- From leevers from Desert Island or Darknuts from Isle of the Winds.
-- Go exploring to find other link statues to get more magic upgrades.
-- Play level A to get the hammer and further broaden your searching.
- Finding extra keys
-- Be more thourough in your searching of the dungeons
-- Just stop by the Master Dome if you really don't feel like searching.

There are multiple ways to achieve each goal. That's why its an unlinear quest. Its all up to you on how you want to accomplish the quest. Some people will want the challenge of finding all keys in a dungeon, others won't bother and simply go to the Master Dome to pick up any keys they might has missed. Its up to the player. If you feel it is a waste of time, by all means, head to the Master Dome and snag some easy-found keys. (but not easily acquired) Now, I'm in the process of updating the quest and expanding raft routes and making it easier to travel by raft. Furthermore, I will take you up on that and add a few more free super bombs in the quest. I may also pop down the price of the magic shield in certain shops.

EDIT: Okay, I've update the quest. I've submitted it to PureZC, and it is only a matter of time before they get it updated. Here are the changes due to complaints about the quest:
- Replaced the 50 rupee piece on Goron Isle with a 200 rupee piece so to help alleviate rupee fears.
- Added two new raft paths on the overworld:
-------> Raft path from the small desert island southeast of snow island to the lower base of the island with purple trees and a link statue just southwest of waterfall island. This better connects east and west on the northern overworld.
-------> Raft path from the small island left of Town island from the third dock, there is a new raft branch that leads DIRECTLY to forest island. You can skip desert island altogether, but you'd still need a super bomb to reach level 2.
- Decreased prices of super bombs and magic shields in ALL shops. This should stop pricing complaints. I am not going any lower.
-------> Magic Shield Prices - 320 to 275 / 250 to 200 / 140 to 120
-------> Super Bomb prices - 60 to 50 / 50 to 40
- Added around 6-8 more free Super Bombs on the overworld, all hidden under bushes. (the only odd one out is the one you get from the bomb lady after level 8.

Note to Happyman: Looks like you may have to update your walkthrough.

Level A does nto house the master key, it houses the hammer instead. And what trigger? If its the crystal trigger across the chasm, try throwing your boomerang at a diagonal angle to hit it.
