This quest here is A Short and Simple Platformer, a ZC quest made by Avataro. This is a quest that takes a pretty unique approach to platforming games and plays similarly to a flash game. Expect plenty of rage, it gets intense very fast. I take on most of the levels here and make some rapid progress.

Don't you love it when you reach a certain point in a quest that is far too difficult to the point where you can never get past it? Yeah, I hate it too. Either way, I make a bit more progress here, getting towards the final level of the quest.

A Short and Simple Platformer Part 3 (Final Part)

 

And with that, I beat the quest! This was definitely a very fun quest, with a really unique style of gameplay and some pretty challenging levels. This is an easy 5/5 IMO and I would definitely play this again. That final boss was a real pain though, especially with its fireballs, but hey I do beat it in the end.

So, yet again, I haven't had the time to make more videos since I've been caught up on exam revision and going out with the family quite a lot. Therefore, there probably won't be any videos for the rest of the week. I might have time later today, but right now I have absolutely no idea.

 

In other news, my next LP will be Joel's "How Do I Play Zelda?" which I'm pretty looking forward to, and it's gonna be the first time in a long time that I'm gonna love one of Joel's quests. Stay tuned for that

Alright so I fixed the whole Camtasia issue. My mic was plugged in incorrectly and screwed everything up, but it is now fixed! Therefore, How Do I Play Zelda? will begin tomorrow!

 

Also, I only have 2 days of school left before my long summer holiday before college, so I'll be resuming streams again. The next stream should be on the 20th or the 21st June depending on when I'm free.

LP 116: How Do I Play Zelda? Part 1 (it's slightly desynced, but meh it shouldn't be too bad)

So, at long last, Joel has finally created a serious quest that is truly amazing. HDIPZ is a short-ish quest, featuring 11 dungeons and 2 overworlds. Link had lost his memories from getting knocked out by Ganon and needs to collect the 4 Triforce pieces in order to regain his memories and fight Ganon in the Dark World.

 

In this part, I explore the main overworld and discover Level 1, deep inside the Faron Forest.

In this part, I go through Level 1, the Faron Temple. This is quite a lengthy dungeon for a level one, but hey it's not too confusing. I then work my way towards Level 2 in the Gerudo Desert.

How Do I Play Zelda? Part 3

 

I go through Level 2, the Gerudo Shrine (with the best song in the quest), and collect the Boomerang, which will be a big help throughout the quest. I then work my way over to Mount Heat and begin some of Level 3, which is my personal favourite dungeon of the quest.

How Do I Play Zelda? Part 4

 

I complete Level 3, the Goron City, and then work my way towards Level 4 in the Lake of Hyrule. This is another really cool area of the quest. The dungeon on the other hand can be kinda annoying, but quite easy at the same time.
