Ok.

First of all, congrats Fish… that wall on floor 5 of the tower of courage is so easily missable its enough to drive you mad!

So, update on my progress… Got the golden gauntlets… got the super bombs, and finally bought some red potion.

Few questions tho...

1) I seem to remember a shop around that sells a L2 Bow for 300 rupees… I now can't find that shop for love nor money… any hints?

2) Ive found 2 mysterious dungeons… one in the waterfall, and one in the steam area. Are they worth taking on at this point? or should I go back after level 6?

3) Ive looked in the east of the map… in the foothills surrounding the Abyssal mountains… but I still can't seem to find the entrance to the swamp of evil. Any pointers? Think what annoyed me were the enemies that launched boomerangs at you...

Arieltap

have you tried other items on the block and yes that will help you progress in the dungeon.

Joki

Question 1: The bow is on the beach you nly can access it by swimming.

Question 2: That dungeon becomes available after you complete tower floor 5.  It is a challenge but gets easier the better the gear you have and does give you a nice item for completing it.

Question 3:  I posted the entry to level 6 a few times in the forum it is in the southeast below the wooded foothills and requires super bombs to enter.

They are red. You can't miss them. And there is only one path leading farther east.

I couldn't finish level 4 because the manhandalas killed me before I could drop a bomb.

Did I miss an item in level 4? I just got the hookshot.

Where is level 5 and the hammer?

The main item in level 4 is the flute. The hookshot was the main item in level 3.

Level 5 has the hammer, but you can only reach it with flippers gained from the tower.

Okay... did I just use a key to get a key? Or is there something else I'm supposed to do in this room? I still don't have the wand upgrade, and there don't seem to be any more paths I can take without it. What am I missing?

That room is vey important and will help you get to the next wand upgrade the key for a key was so you do not break the dungeon and throw the player off from its real purpose.

Falling into holes is actually a very important mechanic. The holes place the player one level down on the same tile as above. For example, those three holes there will take you to three different locations in the room underneath.

I've gone through every room of Tower Floor 1 that I can and I'm missing a key.

Thanks for the pic! I should have seen that!

Level 6 then… Got the level 2 heart ring, and I'm stuck inside the waterfall.  Found the room to the left that you bomb your way into, just having a tough time with invisible wall masters…  Nevermind… the hookshot seems good at stunning...

I could also do with the level 3 sword… the white sword just doesn't cut it in level 6… particularly on the boss… Damn the boss!!! Help!
