I've swum tot he farthest I can in Hylian Field and found the red mushroom to the secret garden as well as the woman who says tresure island is to the northeast of her. unless it's behind the posts, I haven;t been able to find it (I don't have the hammer). Is it somewhere I need to dive?

You dont need the hammer for Treasure Island!
And did you not notice the raft dock at northeast?

Got the mirror shield from the Volcano and visited majority of level 9...
Where's the letter for the potion shop?
Thanks...

Edit: Found it! Not letter, but the bottle!!! Thought it was just a magic container!

Too many to remember on this quest. Not too sure, but I believe by using your fire (candle). Dodge the shadow boss, and concentrate on the other one. It takes quite a few hits, then it turns into something much easier to kill.
Have fun!

I'm stuck in the whirlpool. I've been to every room, but I'm missing a key. I paid for all the hints and got one key after diving and being sent to another room. There are two rooms with seemingly nothing in them, and I've tried diving in both of them. Do I need to try again, or am I missing it somewhere else entirely?

The Whirlpool shouldn´t be any problem. Have you killed all enemies in all rooms ? - I remember that I got one key in a room with a warp in upper right corner and doors west and south. You had to jump to the south door. There were some rapid Goyras that I had to kill to get the key. icon_razz.gif

Blah. Got it now. I didn't see that other whirlpool. Zoras were blocking it. Thanks.

Missing a key in Level 9.
How do I kill the fire breathing giant alligator (king dodongo)? I suspect it has the key. I've tried every item in my inventory to no avail.

You get a hint about it in another room where you are offered to buy a certain item.

Remember he is, like you said, King Dodongo icon_wink.gif

Thanks for the quick reply, Jamian. Got that clue, but I guess I'm not quick enough to charge up before I get hit by the rapid fire. Will keep on trying.

BTW... Congratulations on your fine quest making ability and skilled testers. Your quests have provided a bug- free, and fun playing experience. I've completed Stranded as well, but Resurrection is much better and almost ridiculously too challenging for me. While they tested my patience, both quests, forced me to learn some playing techniques and kept my interest to see the ending. Definitely fun and worthwhile.

Thanks. Looking forward to your upcoming quests.

Note what the goriya sells you. Try using what he sells you.

Most appreciative of the big push, pixcalibur. Was about to throw in the towel. icon_unsettled.gif
I must be using the wrong clue, 'cause I haven't seen that goriya, yet.
I'm off to find that room, wherever it may be. I thought I've been to all rooms in the map that I could without more keys.

That room is near the beginning. Just go up from start and make sure you've explored all the paths that are closed until you defeat that mirror robe.
