In the next version can we either get rid of the half tile thing at the bottom of the screen, or have an option to turn it off? I was playing LoZ on my 3DS and noticed that it wasn't there anymore.

That would be so wonderful. Seriously if you play LoZ on an emulator, the bottom 8 pixels are not hidden.
Why do we need to emulate TVs that crop off part of the screen? icon_razz.gif

So I noticed the Mac download of RC1 is down. I know you probably consider it obsolete now that we have RC2, but I've found RC2 to have introduced some serious problems and I'd kinda like to still have RC1 available as an alternative.

RC1 didn't work at all on Macs. The same is true of B18.

I noticed a new bug: I was using Projectile Shooters as enemies and I also put some constant moving traps set via flag #36. The first time I enter the room, the shooter and traps are there. The second time, the shooters no longer appear and won't come back.

This is only with the constant moving traps, Line of sight ones with the shooters work fine.

Can someone contact _L_ about the perma secrets and such not working in dungeons? This is something that needs to be fixed. It hinders my dungeon making a ton not being able to use perma secrets on dungeon maps.

As far as I know it has always been this way. I think it was due to there being no perma secrets in the original Zelda dungeons. However, they should work in all other DMap types, I usually use Interior for dungeon maps. Forgive me if I'm wrong.

I can't use shutters on interior type dungeon maps. Otherwise I'd be using that. icon_razz.gif

Actually you can use shutters on interior DMaps. It's just a fair bit more complicated to set up than their NES dungeon counterparts, as it uses secret combos and whatnot to simulate the old-style shutters.
One-way shutters are even more aggravating to set up (and don't auto-shut on you - at least not the way I set them up), but they're also possible, given time and a whole bunch of step-next combos.

I know you can use secret combos, but it's not the same.

You could always request a script for shutter doors and someone could try to reinvent the wheel for you. icon_smile.gif

Dummy items (current items) don't appear properly on the passive subscreen:

Right click -> save as.

I found a bug. It appears that combos that need to be triggered by stabbing/slashing them with the sword WHILE invisible don't trigger. I found it while playing a 2.10 quest on RC2, so I made a file to test it on an actual RC2 quest, and I can indeed confirm the bug. It doesn't seem to be the case with other types of triggers. CastChaos confirmed that the secret works fine in 2.10 itself, so it is a bug in RC2.

Check the file to see it for yourself. You start out on a screen with a bush that has the sword trigger on it. The adjacent screen has the exact seem trigger but link is invisible.

I found out that it's the same for any slashable combos. It seems that the sword has no effect in any screens with invisible Link checked. The sword beam is visible though.

Request 1: The ability to increase/decrease volume in NSF, SPC, and GBS music.

EDIT:

Request 2: String Control Codes that warp Link to a specified screen.

#2 would make text cut-scenes easier. You could press A to go to the next string, then the next string would warp you.
