Another interesting thing: The console versions are released in North America on the first, yet the Steam version is apparently to be released on the 4th. That's interesting; maybe it took a little longer to develop and fine-tune all the tweaks out of the PC version?
Anyways, I did a little comparison between the Green Hill demo and Unleashed as far as controls. At first, it was difficult to play the other correctly, mostly cuz of the homing attack button (I still don't understand why they changed it to X for Unleashed), but eventually I somehow managed to get used to switching between them easily. I think I like Generations' homing attack being back at A, like it should have been in Unleashed and like it's been since it was introduced. Well, the same as the "jump" button I guess I should say. As far as rail switching, I suppose that doesn't matter, but I kinda preferred using the bumpers to switch. The other changes... might take me a while to get used to the new drift button, but no biggie.
But it's the tightness of Sonic's movements I noticed. It was hard to go back and replay Unleashed after playing Generations, as Sonic was much more tight in his controls. Well, not much more, but enough to be noticeable. Unleashed took a short amount of time to get used to again, but there's a difference between how he controls in that game behind the back and in Generations. I'm glad for the tightness increase, personally. That's the one thing I didn't like about the Unleashed controls. Although personally I'm hoping they return to Adventure controls one day but meh, these controls are good too.
Man I want this game...
