I think Pokemon might end with Soul Silver and Heart Gold for me... The only decent looking one is the fire starter, and even then it looks bad.

Ugh... What were they thinking when they made the water- no... All of those starters? I hope Black & White won't have to be any kid's first Pokemon game.

That flamethrower looks cool though.

I'm am so going for the grass one. He looks awesome! The fire one's kind of cute, but I can imagine it turning out ugly. Not a big fan of the water one, but it has potential to turn into and awesome water/ice type guy. We'll have to see.

Now we wait for TS to announce how much he hates them.

Edit: While we're at it, that new port city looks good, and the protagonists are neat. Nice that they're a bit older now.

The grass one looks... bad... but the pig is cute as **** and the otter is too. Can't wait to see the hideous creatures they turn into.

It will be fun to see how many people look at this, see it's different, and swear off this Pokemon game. Fast forward five months... yeah, alright, I'll give it a go.

Also, this is pretty explicit (It's a parody of I'm On A Boat), but hilarious.

...*goes out door*...*loudly swears then comes back in* OK, now that I'm over the fact that I was wrong, let my bashing begin. First of all, I'm not picking the garss. Or fire. Do you know how hard it is to find a good water-type near the start of the game that isn't the starter? Next, that grass-type looks incredibly stupid. As does the fire-type. Next, I, strangely, actually quite like that water starter, especially if it later becomes water-ice.

Here's my analysis:

Grass: I think it looks awesome. Reminds me a bit of Treeko. I'll probably be getting this one.

Fire: Cute, but I have a feeling it will become ugly beyond belief.

Water: How could they do that to an otter! Otters are some of my favorite animals, but that thing... ugh. It better evolve into something good, that's all I have to say. If it does, I might get it.

Holy crap, I can't believe I was right about the water one being an otter.

Overall, they're kind of interesting. I mean, they don't look incredible, but they're not really that bad. I can't really decide between 'em right now...gonna have to see what the evos look like.

It's also nice to see older protagonists. Makes it a little more believable to see someone that looks like they could be in high school wandering around the country instead of a ten year old.
