So you guys aren't going to evolve your Pokemon too? (until lv. 98) Awesome! And you guys don't nickname your Pokemon!? How lame .

As much as I hate some of the evolved forms, I don't stop them from evolving. They're too weak otherwise. But I do give mine names. Generally, any starter I get is Spritz (Water), Fritz (Fire), or Gritz (Grass), for example.

I always EV train the hell out of my Pokemon. I have the patience for that, but I don't have the patience to get to Level 100 >_> The highest I ever got is level 83 (Staraptor).

Starter are awesome... except for Generation 4. Those just seemed so odd. I kind of like Piplup and Turtwig. Chimchar blows.

I can see why they don't let you use items against other players, though. Battles would go on FOREVER and you'd end up using every item you have.

I nickname every single one of my Pokemon EVER. Sometimes when I start up a new game, I go with a theme on names. Last time it was destructive names. Example: Slaughter, Annihilate, Destroy, Bombs, Obliterate, etc. It was bad ass.

Yeah but everyone uses them. I like to be different. And anyways...I usually don't stick with the main elements anyway.

We can all breed our starters and send the babies to each other to fill the dex. I'm fine sending baby Cyndoquils to anybody who needs one. Provided I get something in return.

GC has completed the entire Pokedex with all 493 Pokemon. GC could do this.

I'm pretty sure it's yours. I know it doesn't get boosted exp when you hatch it yourself.

I'm pretty sure. If not, just get a ditto and breed them to get your own egg.

I still can't believe how long it's going to be before these come out. I'm borrowing my friends FireRed and LeafGreen games so I can migrate up Pokemon to complete the dex on Platinum. Hopefully, HeartGold will be out by the time I'm done.

Wow, I didn't know you could match up Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FireRed/LeafGreen with Diamond/Pearl/Platinum =O.

Ya. Put any DS Pokemon game in slot 1, then any GBA Pokemon game in slot 2. On the main menu of the DS one, there should be an option that says "Migrate from [whatever GBA Pokemon game it is]. Select it, and choose six Pokemon stored in boxes in the GBA game. It will then migrate them to the DS game. Go to Pal Park (located near Route 226 in Sinnoh, or in Fuschia City in Kanto), and talk to the guy inside to play a catching game, where you have to catch the six Pokemon you migrated.

Edit: Oh ya, and there are also certain Pokemon that appear at certain places if there is a GBA Pokemon game inserted. For instance, with any GBA Pokemon game in, Gengar will appear in a certain room of the Old Chatteu.
